In summary

The National Golf Club at Tantallon is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, versatile event spaces, and attentive staff, particularly in hosting weddings and other special events. Guests commend the quality of the food and the professionalism of staff members like Christine and Mimi. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as divot-marked greens and bunker conditions, as well as concerns about security and communication regarding parking lot incidents.

Our wedding at National Golf Club was truly beyond our expectations in every possible way. The venue itself was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day, but what made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail went above and beyond we felt cared for, supported, and celebrated from start to finish. Everything flowed seamlessly, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful and well-organized the day was.I am deeply grateful to every single person who played a role in making our wedding so perfect.…

My family and I are no strangers to hosting events at the National Golf Club (golf club). In 2016, my sister and her husband held their wedding reception at the golf club. In 2018, my husband and I held our wedding reception at the golf club. In 2024, my husband and I held our baby shower at the golf club. When we first held an event at the golf club in 2016, we met Ms. Christine Kuhn. What an amazing person! Our family loves Ms. Christine so much. She is a light to be around. She is exceptionally helpful. She is a hard worker. She will do all that needs to be done to ensure that your event i…

Very pretty course. Maybe not worth full price. Extremely limited pro shop. Not even a ball marker for sale. Ok carts Decent tee boxes lead into clean wide open fairways. Crazy hard sand in the bunkers and one with a sprinkler issues and a puddle. Greens were fast but divot riddled. Lots of pretty shots and blue tees are long for sure. No cart person driving around. Great cart paths.

Everytime I attend a brunch or dinner at National Golf Club, I aam pleasantly pleased. The food is always amazing. Christine, you are an amazing host! And Chef Venessa's prime Rib was "chef's kiss." Can't wait until the next Brunch and Dinner.

I adore the National Golf Club for so many reasons, but mainly because every event I host there turns out amazing. I had my 40th bday day party here back in May and worked with Christine. She was sweet and super helpful. Not only was she accommodating but so was her staff. I wanted a larger dance floor when we showed up and Christine had the staff change the room for me on the spot. I truly appreciated them.

Lack of Accountability and Inadequate Security I attended a wedding at this venue on July 19, 2025. The next morning, I discovered damage to my vehicle. I immediately contacted the golf course to request that the security footage be reviewed. I spoke with the assistant manager, Janae, who assured me she would look into it right away. Trusting the urgency of the situation would be honored, I waited a few days for a follow-up. When no one reached out, I called back on the third day and was informed that Janae was not in. I left a message and waited again—understanding that unforeseen circumsta…

Course is in better shape than other reviews on here. Tee boxes are fine. Fairways are fine. Greens are in great shape. Challenging course, had to hit three wood off the blue tees in many occasions. Would come back for sure. Only reason for 4 stars instead of five, was that they were hosting a tournament shortly after my tee time and I had to walk. They provided a push cart and discount for the inconvenience. Staff was kind.

We just completed our 15th Annual Old Town Cup at the National Golf Tournament. And staff was very professional and on many different levels. I would highly recommend this facility for Golf Tournaments and private events.🤲🤝👏

Just finished a round at National Golf Club and was honestly impressed. I had seen some negative reviews, but I’m glad I didn’t let that stop me—because the course was in great shape. Fairways were well-maintained, greens rolled true, and the overall layout made for an enjoyable and challenging round. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and the pace of play was smooth. This place is definitely worth playing. I’ll be coming back for sure.

3 Jack National is Augusta compared to this place. Like putting on greens like this? Then this is the place for you. Completely has gone down hill. No Superintendent, no GM, no Golf Pro. I have played on places I consider to be pastures that are better than this. Please sell the course to someone who cares. Thanks, One Very Disgruntled Member Ps: SELL, SELL, SELL!!!!!! Give it up, you all are clueless and not willing to invest in the course!

Had a great time at Wednesday Line Dance with Marissa!! Easy parking and nice room set up. I was surprised to see the bar & grill were also open, nice touch. I will have to remember that the next time I visit. The bartender was pleasant and ready to serve, wish I hadn't eaten already.
