In summary

Cedar Valley Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting in the river valley bluffs, well-maintained course conditions, and enjoyable layout featuring three challenging 9-hole courses. The club is also appreciated for its friendly staff, tasty food offerings, and attractive pricing, particularly on Tuesdays. However, some visitors have experienced issues with strict enforcement of course policies, occasional slow pace of play, and concerns about course design and maintenance, particularly with the "Green Monster" course.

Played today as a walk on as my home course is closed for the season. I showed up about 10 am...so I was expecting to have to play at least nine on the "Green Monster" (GM) and was hoping I could play nine on the regular "back nine" and then turn to the GM for 18 holes. Well, I was without question told, "NO, THIS IS AGAINST THE RULES"! So, I calmly explained it is fall, Nov. 15, and no person was making the turn for at least another hour, which was quite evident. I was by myself, and can play nine holes in 60-70 minutes no problem. I would then turn to the empty GM and not hold anyone up or c…

Had a great time during a golf tournament! I had been golfing here since I was a kid and it’s been nice to see some of the changes like “The Green Monster”. Always a pleasure golfing in the bluffs of the river valley, even though I lost a ton of balls on the back 9. 😂 Green fees aren’t too bad considering the course is one of the better kept and maintained courses in the area. Will be back yet this seasons

I played Trout Run and Treasure Island for the first time. The courses were in great shape and a reasonable challenge for a mid handicapper like me. Really enjoyed the scenery and course layout. The Tuesday special ($32 for 18 holes with cart is a great deal). I will likely play there again.

Great greens. Great fairways. Good layout and an extra 9 holes of your up for 27. Beautiful golf course. I'll be back.

The potential to be a great course, ruined by questionable design choices and an apathetic staff. The drive into the course is beautiful. The natural landscape is fantastic. It's just such a pretty and lovely area. I understand it's likely difficult to find enough quality staff, but there seems to be a complete lack of accountability for golfers out there. I routinely see groups of 5 and 6. They placed the driving range between two holes with no netting up. So on each of these holes a slice brings the driving range into play, and in some cases I've nearly been hit by bad shots, especially fo…

The golf cousre was in pretty good shape for only being open for a week. We have played here before and enjoy the course and scenic views. Played all 27 holes. Price was good and the people in the clubhouse and bar were very friendly. Will definitely play again when we are jn the area.

one of our favorite golf courses. The golf course is always in decent shape the course itself as well laid-out, the bar restaurant is tiny and local with the burgers are always good. We especially like going on Tuesdays when the prices are exceptionally good.

We were there for their Friday night buffet. If you've never done it, it's a must. Prime rib severed medium rare, battered walleye, broiled cod, salmon, seafood pasta, etc. Desserts are homemade like carrot cake, lemon pie, etc. It's definitely worth the trip. The golf course is beautiful.

Beautiful grounds as you pull in with the fountain and flowers , great Yamaha carts so I was eager to get out there ......And then I got out there and was less than Impressed . the green Monster had a cool name but really bad conditions . Crab grass was everywhere and the tee boxes were un level Not sure how the other 18 holes are there but I have no desire to golf the Green Monster again . I golf a lot of different courses by far the lowest quality course around .
