In summary

Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, modern golf carts with GPS, and helpful staff, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. However, some visitors express concerns about slow play due to large groups, inconsistent tee box conditions, and occasional issues with customer service. Despite these drawbacks, the club's amenities and scenic layout are generally appreciated by golfers.

Excellent service and a very well maintained course. After getting rained out midway through the back nine our group was having a beverage in the clubhouse. One of the attendants proactively asked us if our round had been rained out and offered us a rain check (in the form of a gift card) for our missed holes. Well done!

Very nice course. Pro shop employees very helpful and polite. The golf carts are state of art. Very nice driving range.

Pretty good quality course but had a somewhat tight layout. Greens were in good shape and rolled all over for challenging putts. Fairways cut nicely, roughs a little long, and fescue all over. Many elevated greens. Gps carts were a bonus but many times it warned incorrectly when cart was on the path. Clubhouse wasnt bad but nothing for a pro shop. Rates were ok but watch for late afternoon rates to make it a little better. Thought the course played well but wish the course would handle watching play pace a little better as the round ran so long with the modules warning about being behind pace…

To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to share feedback regarding my group’s experience at your course on Sunday, June 1, 2025. While we greatly enjoyed the course itself and found the carts to be in excellent condition, our experience during check-in left much to be desired. When we arrived, we waited patiently at the front desk for about five minutes while the staff member, who we heard identify herself as Shyann, was in a back office. When she eventually came to the desk, she seemed visibly irritated and made us feel as though assisting us was a burden. We had inquired about a cooler with dri…

Good, challenging course. Greens are in good shape, wish I could say the same for the tee boxes, need some TLC. Price is consistent with other courses in the La Crosse WI area

Update; Misunderstanding between the worker, the owners were out of town so it would have been impossible for them to come out to us, they have since reached out and more than made up for it when they wouldn't have had to. My only hope is the member responsible is man enough to compensate them for their loss as a result of his actions. Carts have GPS, our tee time was 11, the group of three ahead of us had 1050, on hole 11 some crazy entitled member hits a drive off of our cart and starts yelling at us that we can't just "jump in anywhere" I tell him that we've been behind the same three guys…

Not worse play here and paid high price! They are letting play 6 people on front of us and waiting time is at least 10 min each hole! Bump to bump play!! No ranger on the course to direct slow players. Food is bad at bar. $10 menu looks like a frozen little chicken nugget by microwaved and putting oven toaster to burned? Less than 10 counts and size of each chicken is small than crouton’s size……suppose come with cattle chip but what you were getting with reg. Potato chips!! Experience was so disappointment . Not recommended at all.

This course was a disaster. Called 3 weeks ago to ask about the course and how it was playing. We were told, "course is in excellent condition and playing great" Booked our tee time. This was the first of 3 courses we were set to play on a golf trip where we drove 5 hours to get here. Course was awful. Tee boxes were completely torn up by some type of disease or fungus. Fringe around some greens was the same. Literally had to move our balls if we felt like we were going to putt over those areas because they were so bad. I brought all of this up to the club house with a response of just shruggi…

Paid $120 for 2 players. Little high. But the big issue was that had a 5 players in front of us and would not let use play thru Really slowed the round. Didn't know this course let 5 players per tee time.

Been a member at Trempealeau Mountain for a couple of years now, been on the course quite a bit over the years. This year the course was bought up by new owners and they have done such a great job with everything. VERY NICE, matte black golf carts with range finders and pin location charts on everyone of them! Greens are very receptive but not too soft which is really nice. They take very good care not only of the course but of the people that go there as well, which I can appreciate being a longtime member.

The good: nice staff, newer carts. nice clubhouse, back nine is decent with a good amount of water mixed in, fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. The bad: about 75% of the tee boxes are absolute garbage with a lot of bare ground. It looks like they are sodding some of them, but the sod appears to be normal blue grass that will likely never be able to be cut short enough for a tee box. No beverage cart. Front nine is boring as can be. No GPS on the carts. I drove 3 hours to come play...I'd think about playing it again, but definitely not driving that far just to play here.

Great course, not long or tight, but statistically place water and traps along with nice elevated undulating greens, make this a course challenging enough for the experienced golfer. New Yamaha gas carts with GPS and USB ports along with a beautiful clubhouse with excellent food and drink. Definitely one to come back to.
