In summary

Westfield Golf Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, reasonable pricing, and enjoyable dining experiences at Whalen's Cove, where the food and service are frequently highlighted. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding customer service, with some visitors describing interactions with the pro shop staff as unpleasant. Additionally, some guests have experienced issues with course conditions, particularly during rainy periods, and have noted limited menu options for vegetarians.

Great course to walk very level and well tended. Some rough spots on the course but none affected play. To be fair it's a rainy year so most courses are suffering a bit with soggy sports.

Course is fun, but the golf pro/manager is very grumpy and has horrible customer service! Seemed like our business was an inconvenience.

Do not come if you are not an experienced golfer, me and my two friends came initially experienced a grumpy man reluctant to let us play 18 holes. When we went to play the back 9, he drove to us and told us we were taking too much time. There was still 1.5 hours of daylight, we explained we were inexperienced golfers. He then bitterly suggested we should “try out the driving range, instead”. Ruined the experience which we paid $50 each for, sad.

Brian Paulson gave me golfing lessons. At 27 years old I’ve never golfed before & I wasn’t going to have my husband teach me, that would have likely ended in a divorce. Brian was extremely patient & kind. I would describe him as a big teddy bear & let’s be honest, I really needed someone with patience! Lessons were very reasonably priced. I wasn’t hopeful at all when learning how to golf, however today I hit a 200 yard drive as a beginner!!! I will be coming back for future lessons!! Thank you!

It's Veterans Day. What a great day for them. They offered a free meal for Vets. Service was excellent. Boy scouts and their leaders were helping to make sure everyone had a beverage. Very polite and courteous. Hats off to management and staff for. making this day very special

We were in a group of ten people. We had pasta dishes, walleye, cod and steak diane. All of us enjoyed our meals. Salad and home made bread were great. Service was good. Entrées came out a little too soon. We were not done with the salads yet. Overall very good.

The view was pretty and our server was friendly but the food was only so-so. As a vegetarian, I didn't really have many options. What I did order was mediocre at best and another person in our party didn't get what they ordered. I might give Whalen's another try if they expand their menu.

We had Thanksgiving buffet here on Tday. The food was good but oily. I had to take an antacid immediately after. My suggestion would be to get another hot buffet cart. There was a double line going through but you cannot access the items on the cart farthest from you. So I missed out on the stuffing and corn and had no desire to go and stand in a long line again. With proper planning on the restaurants part, this was a problem that should not have happened.

When we arrived we were told it would be a 1/2 wait. We went to the bar, had a drink and then after 1/2 we decided to try here another time. The Good looked delicious and it was nice to see that the restaurant was so busy since it just recently opened.

We went to the restaurant Whalens. It took us 1/2 an hour to get our drinks, over and hour for our food. I had a hair in my sauce, my wrap had no flavor, my husband fish was luke warm and not very good. We will not be going back. The set up for the place was half as backwards.
