In summary

Saint Charles Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging layout, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking value. The course features well-maintained fairways and greens, though some players note the need for improvements in cart paths and signage. While the course is generally well-received, a few visitors mention issues with maintenance and the pace of play during busy times.

True diamond gem of a course at an unbelievable deal not only on fees but membership as well. This track challenges your entire golf game from tee to green but fulfilling the palette leaving you hungry for another round. With a membership that exceeds imagination fir a course on this location. I challenge you all to prove me differently.

I absolutely love this course. First, you should know that this is a small town, no frills course. It is very inexpensive. The course could use some maintenance, especially on cart paths. This course has no sand traps. Having said that, it's a blast. 18 holes that are, for the most part, very different. The par 3's are all difficult in their own way and they give me fits! The course has a lot of nice features. Most fairways are pretty forgiving, but you can get into trouble quick if you get out of line. If you take this course for what it is, this place is a blast.

The greens and fairways are decent, but they lose a point for lack of clear signage. There is a T in the path before the 3rd hole and no signage to tell you which way to go. Map didn't help either.

The owner was super nice and all the employees were incredible!! We had a great time golfing on a pretty Saturday afternoon because of the owners of St. Charles golf course! Strongly recommend this place!

I just played the front 9 of this course yesterday and this is a nice course for the money! If the round cost triple I'd give it a 4 but it was $20 for a cart and 18. If you join their membership it's $35/yr and then cart/golf is $12.00 for 18 holes. Not sure how they make money but they make it work I guess. I agree with the previous reviewer the cart paths are terrible. Overall I was happy with the service and the course for the money.

Its early in spring and they had plenty of rain last night,so greens are a little slow. Give it a week of growing and it should be great and green. It's a challenging course with no sand traps and very lush fairways.

Went a day after much rain so the course was soggy, can't blame the course there. The kart path however is really rough gravel making the ride very bumpy. Staff is friendly and the club house is in nice shape.

This course has a lot of potential and is a nice space when mowed and if the woods were kept up on with grooming. There are tons of trees down, trails are a mess, and trip hazards everywhere. Still fun, but the woods definitely need a little TLC.

I really enjoy playing this course, but a few enhancements would be welcome. The layout is plenty challenging, with the landscape contours pitching and rolling. Add a little berm next to that pond on hole # ... it'll keep some balls from rolling into the pond, and I suspect it would speed up play on hole #1. For the most part, many greens are well-sized, but a few are undersized limiting pin location away from some quirky, hard to read locations. Interesting that there are no sand bunkers. A few of the greens are incredibly difficult due to their slope, so scoring well can be challenging. The…

Not a place for amateur, beginner golfers. Got personally accused of “screwing around, jumping off of carts” by the course owner after rushing through a hole because we saw we were holding a group of evidently much better players. Personally will be going to other courses after this.
