In summary

Champlain Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained golf course, beautiful setting, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all levels. The course layout is noted for being both challenging and enjoyable, with excellent conditions and reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have experienced slow service and issues with food quality at the restaurant, which may detract from the overall experience for some guests.

We didn't golf we just came in for drinks and lunch. I ordered our food when I received it It was cold I only got nachos but the works on it. At least I thought .I did not get the beans and I did not get the corn in my nachos .my husband had chicken and fries and the fries tasted like they were sitting there for a while . I was impressed with my drink I have a hard time going to bars and they having my whiskey ( black velvet). I go back again to give them another try. We're not all perfect maybe the cook was having a bad day.

Such a fun place in all seasons. Love sitting out on the deck in the summer enjoying a beer and burger. One of the better restaurants in St Albans. Great atmosphere. Beautiful grounds and golf course. Cheers!

We got take out and it was alright overall, wings were good so were fry’s, but we asked for extra blue cheese but got none anyway. While we asked for a kraft Mac n cheese and it was chunky and did not taste like a normal kraft Mac n cheese, the Mac n cheese also smelt weird

Not thrilled. 5 hours to play 18. People in front of us had zero pace of play. Called club house; insisted they were .5 a hole behind the people in front of them, which was untrue.

Just went for drinks but service was extremely slow. We saw our drinks sitting at the end of the bar for over 10 minutes. My brother went to the waitress to ask if those were our drinks, her response was " I don't know, I'll check in a minute". Needless to say, we skipped a 2nd round....

The only good thing is the view... Long wait for a below average burger... Non attentive waitress when the restaurant was almost empty... You picture the rest... Very disappointing experience. We want to support locals business, but they have to help a bit...

We went to the club house for dinner. It was the worst dining experience that we’ve had since we began dining out once a month with our small group of women several years ago. We waited 45 minutes for our meals (one wasn’t ordered at all and by the time that she received it, the rest of us were done ). I ordered steak tacos (one of the specials) and it was overcooked and flavorless. Our server kept telling us that the kitchen was backed up but there were only 2 other tables dining while we were there. Our group was 7 women. If there was a manager on duty, we never saw them.

Nice course, forgiving off the tee but hitting greens is the way to go low. Above average conditions for the price, you can tell the grounds crew is on top of things. Pro shop staff are very helpful.
