I was there for a funeral so not tge best way to visit but it is a stunning facility. The food for a buffet and personal services were exceptional! The waiters and waitresses were the best I have ever seen, there when needed and served and cleared without being noticed. It would be a great choice for an event if it is available!

I have played golf in some of the top rated courses in the world. That sounds a little pretentious but, I’m old and, it was cheaper then! I was invited to play in the member/guest over the last three days and I was so excited. It was nothing short of exceptional. The course is so good. The condition was so good. The greens were perfect. The star of the show is the ambience. In short, it is elegant. It is not overwhelming, it is just right. So hard to do, right? My first and only visit to the Charles River Country Club of Newton was this past Dec. 14. I attended a weekday buffet holiday luncheon as a member's guest. The club is elegant and has nice restrooms. The food was very good and well displayed. The waitstaff was constantly attentive and pleasant.
