In summary

Chicago Highlands Golf Club is highly praised for its stunning and well-maintained course, offering a unique links-style layout with challenging holes and beautiful views reminiscent of Scotland. The club is noted for its friendly and professional staff, along with excellent amenities such as a resort-like clubhouse, pool, and pickleball courts, creating a welcoming and family-friendly environment. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one critique points to the high membership cost and limited playability during certain seasons due to weather conditions.

Chicago Highlands is my favorite course in Illinois — every hole is unique, challenging and breathtakingly beautiful, from the volcano 9th to the island-style 12th, with views that feel more like Scotland than Chicago. The resort-like clubhouse, fire pits, pickleball, and pool are great amenities for families and friends to meet up after a round and relax. Everybody is super friendly and welcoming from management to clubs pros to even the bag attendants.

What a wonderful morning on the course at Chicago Highlands. Had a truly gracious host who was proud of his club....and he should be. The golf experience was top notch. The course is laid out over a massive space for the Chicago area, but it plays as if you are in isolation. There are dips and rises throughout the course which demand a lot of creativity. That makes for a fun round of golf. There are a few high spots on the course that offer a view of the Chicago skyline that is really fantastic. On top of that, they are working really hard to foster a family friendly environment. I think they…

Hidden Best private club in Chicago! Love this course! Every hole you have a different feeling; which cause you to remember each hole’s layout. The fairways and greens are in perfect condition, like the carpet, even though storms hit the area few days ago! Thanks to my friend who invited me to play here! Hope I can have a chance to play again!

this is a fantastic private golf course, link style, almost no trees, but tall grass along fairway, very challenge layout. the green has been aeration, so very slow, but summer and early fall will be very fast. it is very amazing round of golf, and from the 9th hole green, you can see those towers in chicago downtown

Played there yesterday and I really enjoyed the course. Having never played links type golf it was truly an experience I'll remember for years. Staff was great and our caddie (Michael Levesque) was top notch. The greens were lickedy-split fast and sometimes frustrating as some of my shots would not hold. Great view of downtown too!

It is one of the finest facilities in the area. A brand new Club House, a friendly serving staff and really great owners make Chicago Highlands Club a place that you should definitely check out. The food and the golf are great, too. It's a fantastic location for group or organization events or for not-for-profit fundraisers.

It’s a well kept Harborside, seriously. It’s a nice course, But 125k? No way. I would pay $100 a round on a perfect weather day. The place has to be almost unplayable in spring and fall when wind is blowing. So, in reality you have about 3 months of good golf. For 125k? Oh my. The courses you can join for that kind of money are endless and a lot better. Pool is nice, clubhouse is nice, tennis/pickle ball courts nice, but what pool would you join for 125k a year? Exactly! It’s literally a dump, entire place built on methane and trash. So so so many more courses/clubs out there, both public and…
