In summary

Chicopee Woods Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, interesting layout with 27 holes, and excellent practice facilities. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, and the amenities, including the clubhouse and pro shop, are well-regarded. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play and increased pricing, noting that tee times can be tightly scheduled, leading to longer rounds.

Went here yesterday for the first time and was highly impressed. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the course was absolutely beautiful. It was very well maintained, and had some very interesting holes that were well thought out and really fun to play. It seemed a little pricey at $68 for two 9 hole courses and a small bucket of balls to practice with, but honestly, it was well worth it. Im going there again today. I highly recommend this place for sure.

Fantastic golf course with a good 27 holes layout. Fairways were great and the greens fast and true. Staff was great and the practice facility excellent. A must if you are in the NE Georgia area. Recommend.

Enjoyed a round. Really enjoyed the course a lot. Was my first time. The course has a great layout. This was the day after a huge rain storm in the area and still loved it. Great helpful friendly staff. Really great pro shop with a lot of stuff. Greens rolled great even after a aeration that must have been a couple weeks ago. Look forward to playing a tourney there Monday.

Mane, you can’t go wrong with selecting Chicopee for a round of golf… ⛳️ Like Sugar Hill, it’s a city course and well maintained. They have 27 holes, Mill/Village/School and they operate it like 2 courses. Today, April 17, the course was still transitioning from winter and green fairways weren’t prominent. But the greens were the best I have seen all year and rolling pure. The Marshalls were cool and respectful; in fact, they ushered us to another 9 after they realized our 9 and 13 handicaps were stuck behind the Post Master’s Crowd 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 The cart girl is a vet and she will take care of you…

I am a local resident and I have been playing this course for 25 years. The course layout, condition, food, and practice facility are all 5 stars. Staff are always friendly. But, you have to tolerate poor decisions by the starter that will ruin your pace of play and rangers who occasionally drive around, but never say anything to slow groups ahead of you. I can’t remember the last time I was able to get in a round in less than 4.5 hours on weekday afternoons. I quit playing on the weekends when I played my first six hour round due to over crowding and slow play. I played yesterday and my gro…

I've been playing this golf course for literally decades and have referred to it as the "best hidden gem in the Atlanta Area" to all my friends. Until recently. Traditionally it's always been in the 50-65 range. And this was for early am weekend golf too! Usually one of the first 3-4 groups out. Not anymore, I'm not sure what's going on but showing up to play with friends a t a course where I've always recommended and played only to find out the rates have gone up 30-35% is unequivocally insane. SMH!!! Got me this time, and now I won't be back. Plus the dude in the Pro Shop seem to have zero p…

Fun golf course with an interesting layout. There are some hidden trouble areas off the tee even though there's no water anywhere. Like blind big downhill fairway slopes that you can't see, that end up having a cliff that falls into deep trees for example. So just be weary off the tee box and make sure you know your landing areas. But other than that it was a fun layout, forcing you to hit some alternative clubs off the tee for longer hitters, and forced carries for a shorter hitters. Greens rolled well even though they had just sanded them right before we played so they were a little on the s…

I am in the area from California visiting my son. We planned to play golf and chose Chicopee Woods because of the many great reviews on Google and the photos that various reviewers had posted. The course is in beautiful shape and the different vistas that you get from playing are spectacular. It is a very different course than the type I regularly play in California but you can quickly adapt to the hills and the surroundings that challenge your game. There is a lot of pride taken by ownership because the flowers, plants and yes even the water holes only add to your enjoyment of playing at Ch…

Used to be my favorite course but I am NOT coming back. The last 5 rounds have averaged 4:47 minutes. It’s insane. They book their tee times ever 8-9 minutes apart and of course that is going to cause issues all over the course. They don’t really care because they don’t have competition from other courses around so people are forced to play here. I prefer spending more money somewhere else. It’s a shame because I enjoy the course. They just don’t care because they know they are the only good option around. I have played week days, weekends morning and evenings and it always the same! Not comin…

Amazing course. Perfect greens, amazing fairways, and wide fairways as well. Even the driving range is really the best around. So, so good.

Chicopee Woods is by far my favorite course to play in the Gainesville / North Georgia area. My experience here has always been top notch. The beauty of the course greets you as soon as you turn into the driveway which provides a bag drop area and generous parking. The Chicopee Woods clubhouse has a nice restaurant and well-run pro shop with Keith and team doing a first-class job. I have also been impressed that they keep things moving with multiple registers and a great computer system that sends you email confirmations with your tee times. You will not find a practice complex anywhere that c…
