In summary

Countryland Golf Course is praised for its friendly staff, beautiful views, and affordability, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. Many appreciate the course's layout and the good condition of the greens, although some find them challenging due to slopes and firmness. However, there are criticisms regarding the inconsistent maintenance of the greens and fairways, with some players feeling the course does not justify its price. Additionally, the lack of a driving range and occasional issues with course conditions are noted by some visitors.

I absolutely love this course. Granted, I've only done the front 9 several times, and I enjoy it every time. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. I'm trying to improve my skills, and this is the perfect course to do that! If you can play Country Land, you can play anywhere! The carts are very fast, so drive carefully in them! The staff are all very friendly, and the sandwiches in the grill are all delicious!

Love this course! Staff is nice and the course was in great shape. Can’t bring your own coolers so don’t try it! Do yourself a favor and pull out driver on #2 and aim just over the trees on the right side of the fairway. Very rewarding if you can drive the green. The clubhouse has great food and snacks. They serve some craft beer too which is nice. Nice layout and beautiful scenery.

Life is about perspective. Is this is an elite public course? No. For the price range it is a good to great value (~$45). It's a bit on the shorter side at maybe 6k yards from the tips. The greens were in great shape, albeit some of them were hilly with a lot of slopes. They also were very firm. Depending on the grounds keepers mood the pin placements could have been like a putt putt. The course is relatively open. You can get away with some stray drives on most holes. Did not see a cart girl, but we were out early on a Sunday. Fairways were above average considering all the rain the night bef…

Condition of the course not great for the price. Would have given it a higher review if they didn’t blow the siren when there’s a good 3-5 holes of golf left before it’s too dark to play. Come on folks.

The only reason to golf at Country Land is if you can't afford anything else. The greens are long, soft, bumpy and completely unpredictable. The fairways are in rough shape. The tee boxes are not great. It's a very low budget course. I don't understand how anyone could give this a five star. I'm from out of town and the ratings regarding this course are just misleading, and unreliable. It does have some beautiful views. But it is not a golfer's golf course.

Most improved golf course in the area. Yes, it’s taken a while, but the greens were incredible smooth and fast plus the tee boxes had grass. Fairways were cut nice. And everyone at that place is very nice. Outstanding job - GO BLUE

Course is ridiculous and the greens are the worst I've ever played on. To top it off they charged 25 for a extra rider when we had a 3 some playing and wouldn't need a extra cart. I won't be back for sure.

New to golf and I thought the course was pretty cool, I went on a Saturday after it finished raining and was able to get a tee time right away. Very affordable as well. Greens can be maintained a bit better but overall great experience.

It’s sad such a friendly staff have to work at this golf course. From not having a range to warm up on. To the dirt patches they call fairways. This place was definitely not worth the $45 I spent through golf now.

We had a great time at this course. Sure it is a little rough around the edges but the greens are very nice. Great price and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Burgers and wings were great. I would defiantly go back again. 4 stars because of the value, customer service, fun layout of the course and most importantly the condition of the greens.

Great little gold course, good mix of distance, great for beginners or the long hitters, and what a value. Nice guys in the shop. Will definitely be back...
