In summary

Clarksville Country Club is often praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic and peaceful setting, and friendly staff, making it a pleasant destination for golf and social gatherings. The course, designed as a 9-hole with back-9 tee boxes, is considered challenging and enjoyable by many visitors. However, some criticisms include the requirement to pay for 18 holes even if only playing 9, outdated facilities, and issues with the pool's cleanliness.

One of the true hidden gems of the state and most well-taken care of 9-holes (that also has back-9 tee boxes). Tucked behind the pine curtain of east Texas it’s a peaceful and scenic golf course with a historic clubhouse and bar.

Nice little 9 hole golf ⛳️ course that's set up to play as an 18. Beautiful greens and tight fairways make for a challenging round. Pro shop needs updating. But overall, I enjoyed playing here

We arrived to play 9 hole and were told the rules have changed and must pay for 18 holes. My companions have determined, we will no longer play golf at this course. I have been fighting colon cancer for over two years. One of the side effects of receiving chemotherapy is loss of physical stamina and strength. I wanted a pleasant experience of being outside with activities that I could tolerate in my condition, I am unable to play 18 holes. I can barely play 9 holes. It was so pleasant to be called thieves by the attendant.

Won’t be back. They make you pay for 18 even if you only play 9 holes. Too expensive for a course that only has 9 holes in the first place

Most T-boxes are dome shaped; difficult to find level ground for T-shots
