In summary

Pine Ridge Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the enjoyable driving range and reasonable pricing. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's poor condition, noting issues with the fairways, tee boxes, and greens. Despite these challenges, some reviewers remain optimistic about potential improvements under new ownership.

Ended up only playing 9 holes. Most didn’t have grass on the Tee Boxes and the grass was pretty much dead. Looks like it hasn’t been maintained or watered. Hole 8 and Hole 9 were the only ones with consistent grass. We didn’t end up doing 18 and went to the driving range instead. And this is why they get 4 stars. This area was very enjoyable. I hope the golf course gets some much need love and money and time. I will be back to use the driving range, and hopefully one day wanna play a round a golf again there.

As a beginner golfer I've only played a handful of courses and was excited to get to play a new course especially for the price. I was really disappointed in this course. Most if not all of the fairways were dirt and rock hard. The tee box on hole two is non existent. It was difficult to find tee boxes on most holes. On the plus side the greens were surprisingly good and the driving range setup was nice. The staff was very friendly also. I hope they make improvements because it can be a nice course.

It's inexpensive!!! The course is in really rough shape. I was told that it has been recently purchased and the new owners have significant improvements planned. Boy, does it need it... I'm not going to bag on this place because the staff was awesome and the locals I met were great. Being the only public course in the Paris, TX area, hope the new owners can get this course back into a more playable condition. I would suggest they put up netting of some sort to separate the driving range from the adjacent fairways. I like playing with yellow balls. The range balls are yellow and well, made it r…

We think this place is pretty great. People try to bash the course as if they’re a pro or something. I’m no pro, so definitely don’t require a pro course lol. Always a great time here. Staff is awesome as well.

I'm not normally one to give a bad review on anybody. I will give a good review on somebody but I feel like people need to know. Because I have my boys with me this past week. We initially had a tee time in broken bow but we spent the day before out on the lake all day and they didn't get up in time so I said well we just go to Paris and play pine ridge I've never played there before. It cost me $34 for each of us. I played a lot of golf over the past 25-30 years I even lived in South Florida for a while which probably ruined me for what a really good golf course is now. But I've played him so…

Played Pine Ridge on November 6, 2023 with 3 buddies on golf / camping trip. 1st day we played Sulpher Springs CC....what a great facility, layout and superb conditions. Played Pine Ridge next...I have played for over 40 years and have never played a course in worse condition....it was so bad it was funny. Several holes on the tee box it took several minutes to figure out the fairway and green locations. Most fairways were just pasture weeds and baked clay...no grass to speak of. The greens...not very...patchy, bald, dirt. The joke was to use a 7 iron to putt with. There is no maintenance ...a…

The course is in really, really bad shape. It clearly has not been cared for in years. Very poor signage makes it so you’re not sure where to go or which green to aim for. The first hole is extremely dangerous; it’s directly adjacent to the hitting range, making it so shots whizz by you constantly as you’re trying to play - I was almost hit by 3 range balls in under a minute of trying to play my ball. Not to mention, the entire fairway is littered with hundreds of range balls. Pretty much every green is a minimum of 50% sand, and the grass that is there is basically the length of rough. Fairwa…

I paid for a golf cart rental and was denied access after I already paid. I asked for my money back and was told i could ride the cart with my friend that he rented. I will never go back here again.

Wish we’d have had a solid golf course review before meeting up there to play. As stands now (April 2023), course is in bad shape. Many, many LARGE bald spots on tee boxes and in fairways. Rough is mostly cut weeds. Greens being aerated, which is bad for today but good longer term. Just is not presenting as a well-kept course at this time.

This is my favorite spot to groove my swing! The tracer is awesome and everyone is very friendly. Drinks are not too expensive but the food is frozen and heated up nothing spectacular but if you need a pizza or wings while you hit em, they got em!

All the recent reviews are unfortunately accurate. The course is in tough shape in all areas. They should honestly shut it down temporarily and rework the entire place. On the plus side it is cheap for 18 holes so get what you pay for I guess
