In summary

Coldstream Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and laid-back atmosphere, making it a popular choice for beginners and families. The course offers a variety of fun holes and opportunities for long drives, though it is not immaculately maintained, which some find adds to its charm. However, a few visitors have noted that the greens and fairways could be better maintained, and some have experienced difficulty finding balls due to the rough conditions.

Such a fun little course! Sure, it’s not perfectly manicured but that’s part of it’s charm! We loved the variety of holes and lots of good opportunities for long drives. It’s a great course to play a fun and affordable round and not take golf too seriously. We lost quite a few balls in the rough but also came home with some extras. Enjoy!

Great spot for an affordable round of golf! It’s quite rustic and laid back which we really liked. Not super manicured but we knew that going in and didn’t mind- in fact, that added to the charm. Would be a good course to play a casual round with friends or with beginners.

Love this place! It's inexpensive, open from 6 am till 9 no reservations needed. Fun holes, great place to take juniors to practice. Greens are not amazing but fun to play. Fridays and Saturdays kids play free. So 11$ for hours of family fun! Is an absolutely bonus. Bring lots of old balls or buy there 25c balls as you will loses alot if you are only an ok player.

Good relaxing course no nonsense images and attitudes, just nice people enjoying the game. No water, but the grass will sucks your ball in. The greens are a challenge. If you want something to do and you enjoy the game it's a good deal for the price. I liked being greeted by a rooster 🐓.

I knew what to expect, and I am a rookie golfer, so it was as advertised. Must have lost 10 strokes due to my ball veering off the chosen path to the green. Combination of the vacuum effect of passing semis on one hole, and the microclimatic gusting winds on all the others. The good news is, you could have 20/200 or worse vision out of both eyes, and you could still find more golf balls than you lose. Just walk the edge of the fairway in soft shoes, and you will see what I mean. Watch for thistles. Entertaining afternoon. I would not recommend for dead serious golfers. Just for fun.

Went golfing here today, they couldn't charge us as the machine didn't work .. even though it was free, I still want my money back, it's absolutely shocking , try to imagine a golf course 10 years after the zombie apocalypse in the Vietnam jungle, and now imagine that Vietnam jungle golf course in Jumanji and that's totally it. The green is as long as the rough on a regular golf course and you loose your ball under the grass clippings . Awful place, don't go there..

Nice little golf course (par 9 x 2). Cheap and simple to play. Tee boxes, fairways and greens not in best condition but they work just fine. Bring extra balls as you will lose a few down the gofer holes.

It was a fun starter course to play and learn golf at as a kid, and its only $10, but I played last year and the course seems to have fallen apart, unfortunately. Perhaps okay to take your 6 year old to, but Hillview is probably a better starter course.

The only course around here I feel comfortable playing. So what if it's not immaculately manicured? It probably has a way lower environmental impact than any of the 'nicer' courses. And there's no old rich ***s. What golf should be.

Knew it wouldn't be a well groomed course for $16 but lots of opportunities to hit driver, which is always a good thing!
