In summary

Coldwater Canyon Golf Club at Chula Vista Resort is praised for its well-maintained course, diverse layout featuring both wooded and links-style holes, and helpful amenities like GPS-equipped carts. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the overall condition of the course, particularly the back nine. However, some golfers have experienced issues with slow pace of play, inconsistent course maintenance on the front nine, and occasional dissatisfaction with customer service.

Took my son's with their grandpa, really enjoyed the course. On-site driving range was very convenient to help get the kids ready for the course. Update. Lost a club on the course, and was on the way back through from another vacation and the super helpful clubhouse worked to get me my hybrid back. They stowed it safly for retrieval after closing time.

Course was very well balanced with wooded and links style holes. Fairways and greens were reasonably well kept. Rough is thick (as it should be) and definitely rewards players for hitting the fairway. Some of the bunkers look like they are being phased out and are starting to fill in with rough weeds and such, avoid at all cost. The GPS system on the electric carts was absolutely fantastic. Gives yardage to the front, middle, and back of the greens and you can tap anywhere on the hole to get yardage to hazards. Very pleasant experience!

Course was very nice and well taken care of. Rental clubs were very nice and well worth the price. No complaints at all. Nice challenging course

If you like playing slow, then I’ve got the course for you. If you’re a normal golfer. Avoid avoid avoid. Called the clubhouse when I noticed a backup on the 10th hole. He informed me that there were 10 groups playing the next three holes, including the 10th hole. And said that everyone was playing at pace. 🙄

Played on Sunday this weekend with my friends from NE WI...very slow... no starter and we waited for the group in front of us on every hole. 5 hour round. Front 9 has rock-hard dime-sized greens that were nearly impossible to hold with a PRO V1. Back nine is much better, it is like two different courses! None of the traps had rakes in them and the rough was very tall. They require carts, and would not honor a phone promise to allow me as a walker a small discount. For $70, I could play Trappers Turn and have a 100% better experience/value without the slow players all day and with a staff that…

Well maintained course with a gracious restaurant and bar in terms of space. A short course from the whites. Had a nice round and little overlap from other golfers. Has a range and practice area all very well prices.

Really tight course with small greens and narrow tree lined fairways on front 9. Back 9 is more open w larger greens. Friendly staff.

An outstanding golf course in the Wisconsin Dells. Each 9 holds a different challenge when playing. The superintendent does an amazing job with his course!

Awesome course to play. Lots of different challenges. Greens were nice and fairways well taken care of. The back 9 definitely plays different with that links style than the front 9. Electric GPS carts really tops the cake. Definitely worth the stop to play.

Course is well-kept but overpriced. $70 for weekday round. Sticklers on pace. Finished round in 4 hours, marshals came up twice. Decent course, tough greens, overall experience was ok but price was too high.
