Reedsburg Country Club

This is one of my top three places to golf. Always really nice greens and fairways. The bar is very nice. Staff are friendly. It is a tadbit pricey I want to say we paid $105 per person for 18. We got paired with 2 random people, which I understand happens when you're only a 2 sum that you'll get paired with other people when there busy luckily, we got paired with a couple guys that were around our age who were very nice!

Great track! Some challenging holes and greens are quick, but fair. Beautiful conditions right now. Pro shop Bob was super nice and accommodating.

Took over 10 minutes for our server to even greet us and she didn’t say hello just asked us what we wanted to drink and eat. Took forever with our drinks and food. Went up to the bar to get lemon slices for our shrimp and the bartender didn’t turn around for 8 full minutes as he was talking to a group at the end of the bar. Waitress was still slow with the table touches for the rest of the night. The food was fine at best. My chicken wings were dry and flavorless. We were there on 12/26/25. I never really quite understand why events are held here. Unfortunately the kitchen here has no idea how to cook for events. The food is always bland and mediocre. The bulk of the table I sat with was disappointed in their food. Brown wilty lettuce for salads. I love to support my community but this is such a rough place to eat for some event dinner.

First visit started slowly - no salad bar during the weekdays, although the "special" of the evening was still posted on the board and offered by our waitstaff, it was not "available" as two of our table requested the flat bread special - strike two...next she tried to order the "Tost A Do's" - "oops, sorry - we're out of those too"...strike three...or yeah it's a golf course - "fore". I have performed 8 weddings this year and they had great people and the best steak I have had from Iowa to Wisconsin!

Set tee time and asked about senior rates because our foursome is all over 60. Staff didn’t ask ages and I was quoted $62.25 per player for a Tuesday morning in mid September. My charge card was charged $375.60. When I called to say I was overcharged and it should be $249 only then was I told senior rate is for 65+, which I told him two were 65+ and two players were not. Felt they could make an exception for my inconvenience but they wouldn’t. I cancelled the reservation and will play elsewhere.

My wife’s food was soggy and they still charged her for a meal she didn’t eat . Service was slow in an almost empty restaurant.
