In summary

Coldwater Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and generally good fairway conditions, with some visitors noting the course as fun and challenging. However, there are recurring concerns about the condition of the greens and tee boxes, as well as issues with slow pace of play and course maintenance. Some guests feel the pricing is not reflective of the current course conditions, and there are occasional complaints from nearby residents about maintenance impacting their properties.

The course is great and very fun to play. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My biggest concern is the pricing, which feels quite high, and the course often seems overbooked. On multiple occasions, rounds have taken 5+ hours because there’s a foursome on the tee box, another in the fairway, and another on the green on nearly every hole. Tee times do not appear to be spaced out effectively. When booking, the tee sheet looks fairly open, but in reality the course plays much more crowded than expected.

Played the course yesterday 5/31, first off the layout is good and a fun course to play but the condition of the course was terrible. The greens were pretty much unputtable half dead and crusty and bumpy areas around the greens was the same. Most tee boxes were in rough shape also, fairways were the only bright spot they were in decent to good shape. Even the water jugs on the course were left empty. Honestly not worth the $52 green fee.

Not great. The pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Normal greens fee is $115. I paid $60 because I started at 2pm and even that was too much in my opinion. Not very well taken care of, there was 2 groups of 4 ahead of us who were all together so every few holes they would all just play together, which slowed everything down and no one seemed to mind. Also on 3 of the holes there was literally a kid riding an E-bike on the fairways and THE GREENS. Maybe things all out of their control, but I wouldn't play it again.

The greens are deplorable right now. Been coming to Cold Water over the years and this time was the worst. Greens were so bad, coolers are empty, no water, and the eatery was closed. Green fees needs to be cut in half if this is what's to be expected during the summer months. Come on Cold Water, you can do better!

Wasn't a fan of the course and layout. Greens needed work, most holes have too short of distances as compared to other courses, a lot of driving required to get to next hole, and fairways need help. Being less expensive, I guess you get what you pay for. Good place for a beginner or want to practice your game.

Course was decent for the money (paid $64). However, we had a five person group in front of us that held us up for the entire back nine. No ranger in site and the group was not willing to let us play through. Course needs a ranger to prevent slow play. Pretty standard!!!!

Just paid a $100 to play this Golf course. Used to be a nice Golf course, trending upward. However, I was shocked to see how poor of condition it is in especially the tea boxes. They charged a $100 to play this Golf course, not worth it in my opinion.

The price went up, not worth it for that course, reason I golfed there was it's the only one that isn't cart path only at this time of year.

Get rid of your gophers. They are invading our homes by the golf course 7 th hole. Complaints are going unaddressed. Found one dead in our pool. Damaging our lawns. Please do something about . 4 Neighbors by the 7 th hole.

The course looks like it is taken care of, and they just got done over seeding the greens, so they were slow. The course is challenging and fun.

Not sure what happened, but thought cold water was trending in the right direction to bring the course back to good shape, but played on 7/26/25 & it seems like they are letting the course go down hill… The staff is very friendly & nice, however the tee boxes need ALOT of work. Fairways are alright & greens are actually in good shape. No range balls which sucks in my opinion, machine always seems to be empty. Course has a lot of potential.
