Played course on 8 February 2026. Course staff was pretty friendly and welcoming from the bag drop to the end of my round. The course has great practice facilities. Multiple putting/chipping greens and a full size range that allows you to hit off grass. As for the course, the tee boxes are level, square, and cut nicely. The fairways are about 80% good everywhere with the exception of a few holes that have muddy or patchy areas. Bunkers could use a bit more sand, especially the green side bunkers but still very playable. The greens are huge!! They roll pretty fast and true. Pretty challenging l…

Improved immensely from the old Maryvale days. More undilutations and traps for sure. But playable if you know how to stay away from trouble. Excellent staff! Very impressed from the time I pulled in until I left. Only issue is pulling in and out of the parking lot. No dedicated turn lane on a very busy road. Difficult to get in and out. Otherwise, a great experience and can't wait to play it again.

Had heard a lot of good things about the course and decided to book it. Overall condition was fair. Greens rolled well, but seemed inconsistent in speed. Fairways were fine for the most part but occasionally you woul end up in a bare area in the fairway. Rough was dried or nonexistent grass. BIG PROBLEM!!! Pace of play. 2:40 for the front, 10 and 11 were clear and after that, waiting on every hole. 5:15 for the round. Won’t be back.

Wonderful staff and facilities! The women's' restroom had hair ties/deodorant/etc., in the bathroom, which is so nice at a muni! The major exception to the staff and damper on the day was the ranger; who was unpleasant from the start and was quick to blame our group for the entire course being "a hole behind" on a Saturday. We were not. We finished in less than 4 hours and were keeping pace with the group in front of us the entire time except for one hole where I was nearly hit by a stray tee shot from a neighboring hole, without the group shouting fore or any warning. The ranger decided to lu…

The cart girl was so rude for no reason. She chose to work there that’s not our problem. Anyways the course is amazing the workers are just rude. I would go again but maybe she should have an attitude change. It’s a cart, girl…

Great course within metro Phoenix, wide open but challenging with plenty of undulating, steep bunkers guarding the greens. Their elevated greens with pin placement and slope are another challenge and plenty of mature trees along the fairways create shade and blocked views of the greens if slightly off course.

The golf course is well maintained, and all the staff were very friendly. We teed off at 8:50, and it took exactly four hours to finish the entire course. I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful Course. Terribly Managed. The greens and fairways are really well taken care of. They don’t manage the play well at all though. Tons of 5-somes. People stopping to film everything for social media. Totally unacceptable how slow the play is. They need better management of the speed of play or just don’t book so many people all at once. They should offer refunds when you can’t even get through 7 holes in over 2 hours. Not worth the drive to the sketchy neighborhood. Try Encanto instead. Much better experience even though it’s not as nice.

Excellent course! From the staff to the driving range, this course is 5 stars! The course can be long, depending on how much you want to chew off from the different tee boxes. Choose according to your ability and be smarter than the average Joe. You have to make shots. You have to attack the pins. You will need all the shots in your bag. Your short game better be in form. The greens run faster than most. This is real golf, not a weekend warriors resort course. The drive will be rewarded for hitting fairways. The CartGirll provided 5 Star Service. Great pro shop. I had a delicious breakfast bur…

Great course, challenging and fun. Came here for the solar pros leadership championship tournament. Some guys cheated to win but that’s not the courses fault.

Played today with some friends we made the turn to find a deranged man with a knife clearly on something hobbling right through the clubhouse and driving range. We kept our distance and assumed he was headed for the entrance. We teed off on 10 and there he was heading down the ninth hole still no staff or security stopping him he went around the course for another 40 minutes until the Phoenix police finally arrived and had to take him down at gunpoint. I think the university has some serious security issues.
