What People Say

In summary

College Heights Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained and challenging 9-hole course, offering a strategic layout that requires a variety of clubs and creativity. The friendly staff and inviting clubhouse atmosphere add to the positive experience. However, some visitors express concerns over the higher pricing for green fees and cart rentals, and there are occasional issues with the availability of range balls and food quality.

This is a fun and challenging 9-hole course, well-maintained.. A lot of 9-hole courses I've played don't require you to use almost every club in your bag. You can't just grip it and rip it on every Par 4 and 5, you have to use creativity and strategy. You will have to use long or mid-irons off some of the tees if you're a longer hitter, or else you will go OB. The greens are also tricky, you don't want to be on the wrong side of the green. I didn't eat here, but the staff was friendly and courteous as well. High recommended if your in the area

They charge $20 per person for a cart, my wife and I had to pay $40 just for us to share a cart, that didn't include green fees. Total for two of us to play 9 with a cart cost almost the same as playing 18 with a cart at York which is a much nicer course.

Course is fun and usually in good condition. I'm rating 3 stars though for the driving range. We drove from Lincoln and upon getting there were told that they did not have any range balls (apparently nobody has been picking them up). We were also told that someone was on the range collecting them. So we drove on over to the range to score some balls and the only people there were some yoynger guys hitting balls. I'm guessing they were supposed to be picking up but decided to hit instead since one of them sat in a cart and watched us until we left once he was out of balls. We made an hour round…

$ 50 dollars for a very subpar 9 hole golf course!!! I spent a $ 100 for 2 people to have no greens available. Cups were in the fairways. Terrible!!!!!!! 1 cart $ 20 a piece!!!!

This was my first visit to CHCC and I had a great time. The course is very well maintained, not many leaves in the fairway which helped a lot! The tees are not marked so you need to look at the scorecard to know where to go for the next tee, but it wasn't too tricky to figure out. The topography changes and several dog legs make for a challenging 9 holes. The second time around is only slightly easier. Definitely worth the drive from Lincoln. Thanks for the great experience CHCC!

Fair 6000 yd, 9 hole course with affordable prices. I liked holes 1, 4, and 9. Cant beat $5 green fee, even if it was muddy with temporary greens. Ill be back during the season I hope.

We just visited CHCC for the reception that followed the Crete High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Although the space inside was small, the area was well-used for how many tables and chairs were set up. The drinks were more than affordable and the staff was extremely friendly.

Theyve done some remodeling and cleaning up. Pro shop is back and looks nice. Prices are up as well for drinks. More TV screens made watching red-white game easier. FUN!!!

Nice atmosphere and view. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have hardly anything on the menu.

Food was extremely delicious. Service was attentive and polite. As our favorite Italian restaurant in Lincoln...it is great we have one in Crete now.
