Well this visit was in the winter, for cross country skiing so I can't speak for how well the greens are but the land to ski on is fantastic! Two simple loops which is about two miles in total. Enough light pollution that you don't need a head lamp even if you're on the non lit trails at night. I've head they even groom the trails but I haven't experienced that yet as this year , 2018, they closed early do to tree trimming on the course. Will look forward to it again next year!

This was a really nice course. This is the first time I played it. There are some nice hills and it is very scenic. The course had some challenges but overall wasn't too difficult.

A classic St. Paul golf course. Lots of hills and rolling terrain. Sometimes you can hear the animals at the zoo that the course borders in one area. The greens and fairways are in great shape. A really fun golf course!

Decent course. Fairly open with close holes...so don't just be picking up every ball that is not yours. Saw beer cart twice on back nine only. Maybe because it was Sunday they couldn't stay selling suds until afternoon? Although they were selling it at the clubhouse so that is probably not the case. You get what you pay for...I'll be back.

Unfortunately can’t give zero stars. The manager has the tee sheet set up to send people off the front and back. Called the clubhouse to ask why people were being sent off the back and they said they wouldn’t do that. Don’t book if you want to play under 5 hours.

Dog track, but fun enough layout for a city course. Bonus that you get to see a bit of the Como Zoo and Arboretum.

The cc skiing is pretty good with extensive trails groomed for skate and classic. I fell pretty good the other day, and several kind ladies also there stopped to help. The staff came with a sled and pulled me across the golf course...not with a 4-wheeler, with his legs. Thank you! I think it would be cool to have a fundraiser to get the park a 4-wheeler for such events and more emergencies.

Very nice municipal course! Play all 18 to truly experience the course. The front nine takes a beating, but the back nine makes up for it!

This course demonstrates significant potential for improvement. However, it appears that the institution is either experiencing staffing shortages or lacks attention to detail in groundskeeping. While the overall experience was satisfactory, it may not warrant a return visit.

Overbooked. Forced to rush. New player with our group stopped golfing after Ranger screamed at us. New players should avoid this course. Starter and clubhouse were very respectful. Ranger represents the golf course perfectly, unprofessional and entitled.

Admittedly, I'm a golf hacker, but enjoyed the beautiful fairways and greens. Excellent friendly staff. A good tournament outing.

From walking in the door at 630am on a Sunday to dropping the last putt on 18, this was a wonderful experience. The young man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The course was in excellent shape. The greens could be compared to a private course greens. (Although the pin location on 15 was unfair.). All in all, for a public course, this was great!
