In summary

Copper Canyon Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, beautiful desert setting, and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the challenging yet accessible layout of the three nine-hole courses and the excellent amenities, including dining options and practice facilities. However, some guests have noted occasional issues with slow pace of play and compacted bunkers, and there are mixed reviews about the dining experience.

A 50 minutes drive from Scottsdale, these courses are in a wonderful community filled with friendly, good people. The layout for all three 9's offers something for everyone. I really enjoyed the challenging aspects of the lake course! It's nice to hope in the car and go to another place with good, kind people and golf in the mecca of AZ at a great value! I will definitely be back. It has everything one needs for a full day's fun and relaxation! Thanks for having me! Daniel Connor Scottsdale

Very nice golf course. Excellent facilities. I had to rent clubs and was surprised to see current year clubs in the bag and a great putter! Plus they give you 6 brand new balls! Staff could not be nicer. Great dining area. Better than average food at the snack bar. Nice driving range and practice area. Courses are fun, challenging, but not too penal. Greens were in very good condition.

Great 27 hole set up. We play this course every trip out to Arizona. Always get friendly service from the staff. The course is always in good shape. Well manicured. There are many houses close to the course so if you spray the ball off the tee you could find yourself in someone's backyard or hitting the homes. It can get windy at times as it is set in a wide open area, but you won't regret playing here.

Although it's a bit out of the way from the Phoenix-Metro area, you cannot beat a sub-$100 round during peak season. The greens were a lot quicker than I expected, but they were also very well taken care of. Fairways were in great shape and easy to hit off of. The only thing keeping this from five-stars for me is the bunkers were very compacted. Some felt like I was hitting out of compacted gravel, while others the bunker was just firm. For the price, I would consider coming back out!

Beautiful golf course. The greens are in mint condition, the staff is kind and friendly, and the wildlife here is amazing. We saw geese, roadrunners, quails, and even a bobcat!

Copper Canyon is a bit of a hidden gem. Designed by Schmidt-Curley, the layout is straightforward but well thought out, with fairways that give you room and greens that keep you honest. The desert views are beautiful, and the course is usually in excellent condition. It’s not as famous as the big-name Scottsdale courses, but that’s part of its charm—it feels more relaxed and less crowded. For the price and quality, it’s an excellent value round of golf.

Went for lunch today and was disappointed with the cheeseburger and fries.French fries were way over done or they changed the brand. The bun was totally stale, hard as a rock. And they put everything on such a small plate and my fries were falling off the plate onto the table. It was like a salad plate. That was the most dissatisfying thing to me. I know they want to make it look like you are getting a huge amount of food but this is ridiculous. They used to have the best cheese burgers that I ever had anywhere. So disappointed!
