In summary

Great Eagle Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors praising the course's condition, especially the greens and sand traps, as well as the friendly staff and improved clubhouse amenities. However, there are recurring criticisms about the course's overall maintenance, particularly the fairways and cart paths, and issues with overcrowding and slow pace of play. While some appreciate the reasonable pricing and challenging layout, others feel the course does not offer good value for the cost.

I was hesitant to try this course due to the low ratings, but my playing partner convinced me to try it. I play the Grand courses and they are pristine. when i pulled into the course i noticed the fairways were all green and well cared for. It is an older course where most fairways are straight away to the greens and bordered by many moguls. like most courses this time of year, you get off the fairways and the Bermuda is dormant which is to be expected as most courses can't afford the seed and water costs. Greens are beautiful and ill admit cared for better that Grand. The bunkers are better t…

Course is in amazing shape. From tee box to green the layout leaves you a variety of ways to play each hole, I commonly play one fairway from the adjacent fairway 😆Just got back for this season and the clubhouse had a whole new drink menu and adding more food by the week. They have also finished the outdoor deck, which was a major improvement and great place to hang out.

Only went to their driving range and was far from impressed. The range-ball dispenser is about 200 yards from the range. They recommend bring you own ball bag/basket. The ground is really torn up, but i think it was time to move the practice area. The range was like hitting into parking lot with pockets of sand, hard to translate your swings to a manicured course.

Played here on Feb 7th which was a Saturday. The course itself is in acceptable condition but the cart path is basically none existent, it was like riding an ATV. And they need to manage their tee times better, it was way over crowded, way over. I know it’s Saturday but It was a complete traffic jam and we didn’t even finish 18. I have never seen such a log jam of golfers in my life! Teed off at 1:20 and we only got to the 15th tee box by dark. Unacceptable and no refund or credit to another round. There is a sign saying this so they know they are ripping people off being greedy herding golfer…

BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS AND YELP EVEN WORSE Never again, I always excepted that Great Eagle was the arm pit golf course in the west valley after Villa DePaz closed, their best hole is the one you can see from Bell rd, downhill from there but last Sunday was the end for my wife and I. I had a 1:24 tee time last Sunday (2/22) we paid in the office and was at the first tee about 1:10... a group teeing off with all 4 drives about 50-80 yards and not one in the fairway so we knew it would be a slow pace... the 1:15 group showed up and the started said "your after them" and grouped us with anoth…

I just want to send you a message to indicate that you the manager of Eagle Golf Club has the worst golf Course I've ever seen and I play a lot of golf. I can't believe you have the nerve to charge people to play at what you call a golf course almost 40 bucks that is a slap in the face. I'm sending you. pictures of your course in your equipment. I lifted my coffee cup out from the cup holder on the golf cart and the entire holder came out. I hit the ball in the middle of the Fairway and my second shot I'm hitting from dirt I actually have to move the ball to some grass which is not much just h…

Like coming here to practice. Practice greens are nice and have great ways to practice putting on different surface levels. I also like going to a course where they have a practice bunker. Solid course

Pretty slow. Waited on every hole. Reasonable prices. Have some good specials. Bar and grill has good food.

This track has many positives. Most sand traps had great sand. The fairways and greens were nice. Unfortunately a couple negatives. The starter was very angry in his demeanor. I think he forgot people are here to enjoy a great day. Could be bad training from mgmt. The cart paths need much upgrades. They are rugged. Pot holes. The carts are getting abuse at a slow speed. Thus the carts feel unstable.

This course is a piece of s***. There is no grass on the fairways and it is brown everywhere. The greens need to be cut, but it is too warm all the time and they would die. The routing on the course is poorly thought out and again, they need more watering to green it up. The only positive is it's a third of the price of the other courses in the area.

Live by there but rarely go there. Dark and dingy. Service is good if not busy but not uncommon to have to go up to the bar and get your drinks while waiting for server Was better before covid.. Burgers are good, just over priced. Don't go after dark because there are no lights on the parking lot
