In summary

Copperas Hollow Country Club is generally well-regarded for its well-maintained greens and friendly staff, offering a welcoming and laid-back environment. The course, although a 9-hole layout, presents a fun and challenging experience for both beginners and seasoned players, with some unique hazards and an interesting design. However, some visitors feel the pricing is high for the course's condition, particularly noting issues with signage, cart maintenance, and occasional crowding from local members.

Really enjoyed this course. Was busy but not too crazy where you are slowed down considerably. Played at a nice pace. First time at course, very nice. If you want to play 18 holes, you'll play the same nine twice. This course is good for beginners and seasoned players. My only critique would be to update the carts and signage. You have to walk around the granite pillars to see information about the hole, and even then some of the colors are worn off making it difficult to read. The brakes on our golf cart were hit and miss, so check them before driving off. Ladies tee boxes offer an advantage…

Probably the only review you will need.1 Watch out for some of the drunk locals, they don’t care if your on hole 2 or 8 they want you out of there way no matter how fast you play. Granted this doesn’t happen every time, but just understand this is a small course most of the members feel that they own the course. 2 the greens are either hit or miss, as of right now they are great, very enjoyable. However, there are times where there is just patches of grass on the greens. Most of course is decently maintained other than that.3 Staff are overall friendly, never had an issue and overall reasonabl…

I’ve played here a few times now and love it! The greens are fantastic! They are challenging and every putt has you guessing. You can tell they take pride in the course and try to keep it in great shape which is a challenge in TX. Even though it’s 9 holes, play 18 because it’s great to get a second shot to better your first 9. There are a couple of challenging dog-legs, long par 4’s and even a couple shots at an Ace. It’s affordable, fun and usually not so busy you’re waiting for long. The value is great here. There isn’t a fancy clubhouse, bar or anything special like that which is a nice ch…

Very challenging greens. Really have to look twice before heading to next tee box. Direction and signage would be a huge help for first timers. Definitely will play this corse again.

Way overpriced. 51 dollars on Friday for a 9 hole golf course. The greens are ok but the fairways and tee boxes are a little below goat patch level. We used to pay senior rate on Fridays of 25 bucks which is fair.

It's a decent 9hole course. Probably a little too pricey for the condition of the course. Friendly staff.

Great course, well maintained. 27 holes that vary daily. Not a ton of water, but if you’re a shanker, bring a chain saw.

This is one of the best course I've played at in Texas, and for a reasonable price! I live in College Station so I'm used to the A&M course, but it's SO expensive and the greens are horrible. So I thought I'd try Copperas Hollow! I was pleasantly surprised. It gave a home-town feel and I wasn't feeling like I'd be getting in trouble for stupid rules (which happens often at those fancier, more expensive courses). But the greens were lovely, the rough was well maintained, and there were some fun hazards. I will definitely come back here!

Conditions were slightly below average for a public course given the season, almost easier to get a better lie in the rough than it is on the fairway. No sand traps and pretty much non-existent water hazards are a bonus to the fellow high handicapper. Nevertheless what you make up in lack of hazards you lose in putting. The greens were ferociously fast (especially when putting/chipping) and the way they are sloped makes it feel like some sort of putt putt challenge green. This would be a 4-star experience besides the fact that this course is very poorly marked and the scorecard is full of adve…

$60 to play 18 holes ON A 9 HOLE COURSE. Total waste of money, go play somewhere else. The range is in the dead center of the course, meaning that theres about 3 holes with range balls all over them.

This is about what you’d expect at a public course in the country. If they took a little effort to rid the fire ants and cut the ruff it would be better. Greens are slow but in good shape. Nice folks but needs some work it could be a nice 9 hole track. Hard to find anything not on the fairway.

9hole course, great place for beginners with a couple holes that can give a excellent golfer a challenge. Well kept and clean. Prices are best in town, wonderful staff. I play here often one day soon hope to become a fill time member.
