Fun course at a great price. Good challenge to hit the small greens.

I had a great time playing this course! It's a 9-hole layout; creative use of of separate tee boxes allows players to experience 18 different holes. The fairways are generous, and the roughs are relatively forgiving. The course rewards good ball striking. The greens are postage-stamp styled and roll nicely. The Hearne Golf Course represents the importance of municipal golf courses. It offers a quality, accessible experience. All playing levels will enjoy this course. I can't wait to go back!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff that work hard to keep this gem in great shape. I had never played here until this year and if you haven't played it, get out and support their efforts. Great layout and use of different tees to give you an 18 hole experience on a 9 hole course. Jim Sloan

Golf course was amazing and well kept, but customer service was absolutely horrible. First time I came here I waited 30 minutes before the owner finally came to help us and seemed upset he had to help us. I just went there again today to see if it was better and it was worst this time. The owner told me he doesn’t play ones on Saturday’s when the Saturday before I saw people playing ones. When I told him this he said thank you he’s going to fire the worker last week. Like bro are you going to fire yourself. Not to even mention he almost backed over me in his car because he wasn’t paying attent…

Course is green but fairways cut about rough length. You can lose golfballs in the fairway. Greens are small, domed, and very shaggy. By the 3rd hole we just picked up after getting on the greens. My partner made a 4 footer for birdie on #8 but you won't make any putts longer than that here without a genie.

It had been 50 years since I played this good little layout in Hearne. I love these small town courses. They have a new irrigation system, repair of some bridges on the course & a sense of pride from the golf association & employees. The small hump back green of common Bermuda will test your accuracy and short game. It’s worth a visit.

I play quite a bit around Tx- This course is a very decent 9 hole- greens are well manicured and fairways are long and clean- ample space and can’t beat Willy up front- hell of a personality and friendly as all get- only thing you need to prepare yourself with is some cold beer or drinks and a mini cooler. Touché !!

We all enjoyed our golf very much. The fairways were good, greens well kept and lots of trees. What more can you ask for. We will be back, Charlie and Frances Childers ( Bryan, Texas)

Excellent practice course. If you can hit these greens in regulation you can play anywhere especially if you walk it. Not a pushover like you may think.

Love the course but hate the new cart fees - $20 for nine holes plus the $12 green fees makes it a little rich for my taste...Were talking 9 holes...

Greens looked beautiful on a crisp, humid, May morning. Only complaint would be that no one decided to show up to work today.
