Country Club of Halifax

First time playing here, gloomy rainy wet afternoon. The conditions were pristine minus the wetness. Was 10 min late to the tee time and staff was kind, put me into another group. Not many course would without an attitude. The carts do need improvement. First one would not hold the brake and second one was so slow probably not enough battery or motor was dying $20 for riding should be better than that. The greens were fast but straight, didn’t break much. Mostly short part 4s and sneaky doglegs, not a lot of water, 1 or 2 holes. Over all quality is very good, not overly challenging, definitely…

Very nice course to play. Loved that they had a tribute to our armed forces.

Absolute dump if you wanna pay Pine Hills prices and be treated like shit. Been playing for 30 years and never been treated like that before. Never again and would never recommend. Worked in golf for over 10 years. Most unprofessional club I have ever been to. You got my money today but never again. Absolute clowns in the pro shop. We were thinking about holding our charity tournament here and that's not happening.

Great track with challenging dog legs. Ample room to land in fairways, big greens and very well groomed. Sand tramps need more sand. Bring your own breakfast or lunch as the club has no food service, just drinks.

Great food and the employees are amazing and helpful. The music is always great on the great deck and the view is beaitiful.

The quality of food and service here has varied greatly each time we visit. The food can be amazing or terrible. The service is usually friendly, but always slow. It's such a lovely location and the deck is awesome. I really hope they can figure out how to staff better so that the dining experience can be more consistent.

Fast Greens Get Your Driver cleaned up...Your gonna need it..Great Shape for Drought Conditions.. Friendly People. Great fairways. I suck at golf so take this with a grain of salt. I thought it was a challenge. Greens are well protected and solid so if you can't approach high with spin your gonna struggle. I'll be back worth the money...

New to this restaurant at the Halifax CC.and very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the broiled scrod. Both were fresh and well prepared. Would definitely go back.

I liked the layout of the golf course. We also had a fine lunch at the shanks Bar and Grill with reasonable prices. First time at the course found that the greens and Fairways were fast and hard overall a very nice day.

Excellent place. We were pleasantly surprised with the new outside deck and bar. Very nicely done. Good was excellent and the wait staff and hostess were very friendly. Very nice for a restaurant at a private golf course. Well worth the trip.

Good layout greens were punch

Course was in great shape... Greens were true and in really good shape for 11/26.. Lots of challenging approaches which made good drives not relevant. Will definitely come back.
