In summary

North Hill Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained and challenging 9-hole course, which offers a good mix of elevation changes and a pleasant golfing experience at an affordable price. The staff generally receive positive feedback, although there are occasional reports of rude or unhelpful customer service. Some visitors mention issues with the pace of play and the proximity of holes leading to safety concerns, but overall, the course is appreciated for its layout and value.

Great course. Challenging for an average golfer. My only complaint is that you have to book online and are immediately charged for everyone in your group. It isn't easy collecting from other people in the group when people don't carry much cash with them. Also, the gent who answers the phone could use a lesson in customer curtesy!

My uncle plays here. He likes it, but man, it's rough. Holes are practically on top of each other. Really doesn't stack up to some of the other courses in the area if you're willing to make the drive. If you want to get out and golf, this will do it.

I grew up playing here. Very well kept. The 1st 3 holes are as difficult as any in MA.

I’ve played North Hill ~75 times and can count my bad experiences on 1 hand. The course is in great shape and the recent tweaks (tree removal, greens work, etc.) have all been well done. The pace of play isn’t the fastest but I attribute that to the terrain, difficulty of the first 3 holes, and the fact this is usually the “first real course” most local kids play. It’s by no mean easy but when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping why would you want to spend less than 2-hours walking this fantastic and absurdly inexpensive challenging track.

Really like this course, good setup, well maintained and a wonderful 9 hole experience. They do not have driving range that they supply balls for. But you can bring your own. Nice pitch and putt. You can pull a bag or rent a cart.

The employee working the phone and front desk had no interest in actually helping us. He was rude and it was upsetting.

Course is really nice, fairly well maintained and some early holes are fairly challenging. Worst experience I've ever had with staff though. All but one of the rangers where extremely rude and disrespectful to us. We will not be back. Shame, it's a pretty nice course if you don't mind only 9 holes

Nice staff and half decent greens but that’s where the good part of this review ends. Slowest pace of play I’ve ever witnessed and you are always... and I mean always... in danger of getting hit by a ball. In 9 holes I heard FORE no less than 20-25 times. If you like golf as a contact sport, this is your place

Terrible customer service, went to call in a tee time like I’ve done already about 4 times this year and the man on the phone was extremely blunt and rude about how you can only book one online. Shame they’d rather lose business than write a solos name down for a tee time an hour away when they’re entire slate was wide open.

Great 9 hole course! Tough challenge. Had a great time but wish they had a back nine. Came from out of town so I didn’t know they only had 9 holes but still had a blast and it was a nice test.
