Front nine is amazing, back nine is something out of an enchanted village. The vision needed to conceive some of the holes is inconceivable. Donald Ross is every bit the visionary he's purported to be. There was a stretch of holes on the back nine where my partner and I just kept saying 'WOW THAT WAS THE GREATEST HOLE EVER" The fairway on 11, tee shot on 15 and green on 16 are other worldly. Hope to be back here again someday.

Had a wonderful time at the Christopher Columbus scholarship fund event. Great charity that offer scholarships to young students all over York County. Get involved!

Held my daughter's wedding reception here. Great choice! We had filet and salmon with crab as the entree selections, and I was a little worried about serving 150 people. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Got comments from all around the room about how good the food was. Our water glasses were always kept full, which was much appreciated. The staff was professional, helpful, and relayed information as needed when I made some last minute changes. I primarily dealt with Shannon and she was totally awesome! She always answered my emails promptly, was very organized, and worked around…

I've been here for various work functions. They definitely have the BEST crabcake I have EVER had. I would want to be a member just to dine there occasionally. Service was terrific too. It is also very beautiful inside too.

The grounds and buildings are spectacular, The food and the service on the other hand are far from stellar. The steak was not the quality level one would expect at this type of venue. The ice cream was old and gummy. We barely saw the server and the place was relatively empty for a Friday night.

Beautiful course that feels tucked back away from things and up on a hill. Lovely club house. Friendly staff. Parking can be tight by the overhang, especially with all the carts.

I'm pretty sure I don't have 2020 vision. But I think it's well enough that I saw people cutting grass with scissors. Like are you serious. I'm sure they don't get paid much already, 15 dollars tops I bet and these employees are made to cut grass with scissors! Ridiculous. Treat people how u want to be treated.

The country club of York is such an elegant, luxurious setting for any prestigious event. The woman's club of York meets there every month to enjoy the beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, among other delights.

Amazing looking place, lots of stuff going on. Unfortunately the members are obnoxious and rude, and the management is horrendous. There is no tact or couth, instead of being politely ushered out of the wrong room, you are pushed out by a manager reminding you that "This is not your room!" The place gets 2 stars for the amazing waitstaff and employees, I would love to give a 5 star review for their efforts alone. Management needs to step up their game and drop the high and mighty act. We get it, it's a country club for rich people, but us less-entotled peasants are still human.
