In summary

Country Hills Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, pleasant layout, and suitability for players of various skill levels, with some visitors noting the friendly and helpful staff. However, there are recurring concerns about the course's conditions, such as bumpy greens and hard fairways, as well as issues with overcrowding and slow pace of play. Additionally, some players have experienced dissatisfaction with management practices, including unclear pricing and inadequate communication regarding course operations.

For the small cart fee and green fee, this course is a gem. The greens can use some sand because they are bumpy but overall its a really nice course.

It’s reached the point where this course is simply not playable. Occasionally a course might not be in perfect condition, that’s understandable. But that’s not the issue here. The real problem is overcrowding. There are far too many golfers on the course at the same time, and there appears to be zero pace-of-play management. Tee times are scheduled far too close together, there’s no visible starter, and no ranger ensuring groups keep up. As a result, rounds routinely stretch to five hours or more. On one occasion, we were stuck behind two foursomes playing best ball. They significantly slowe…

Course is definitely overpriced. I paid for 18 holes one day last week and got to play 13. On the back nine, we got to play only 4 complete holes. County Hills decided to turn on the sprinklers on five holes on the back nine, #13 even was turned on after we hit onto the green. I called the clubhouse from #13 and heard "I'm sorry". I'm not sure who calls the shots on the sprinklers, but one day he'll soak the wrong boys and learn a valuable lesson on how to treat paying patrons.

Best course for the money. The fairways and greens are always in great shape. Well laid out for all handicaps. Especially good course for seniors and average handicap players.

Definitely not worth the price. Was a discount because or recent aeration of the greens and even that seemed like too much. Tee boxes were just regular grass at best in most cases. Not a ton of difference between the fairways and the rough unless you could the super long grass on the far edges of the course that reminded me of a yard that hadn't been cut in weeks not a golf course. Bunkers were unplayable as most just looked like pits of clay with no sand and didn't feel like injuring myself for a bunker shot. The ground around the entire course was also rock hard. Never seen that even on a ch…

We've been treated badly for years and we forgive them and go back only to receive the same treatment, over and over again. It's time to STOP giving them our MONEY because it's evident they do not want us there. The attached photo show's the conditions we played a couple of weeks ago. The attendant begin watering the greens on hole three and we stood in water for the rest of the day. That was the green on hole 16. We asked him to cut the water off when we were on the tee box and he just through his hands up. The bad thing about that situation is, we were trying to get a round in before the rai…

Great little course. Not long but has some risk/reward holes that are great. Was in good shape and plan on making the trip back from Va to play again.

Over priced for cow pasture fairways and hard as rock greens. Also they let people out on the back 9 to cut in front of already playing players and backlogging the course. Won’t go back

My wife and I played today for the first time. The course was a very nice layout. Some shots are blind and worthy of a ride up to see your shot. Greens are very good. Staff couldn’t be friendlier or helpful. The cost of $33 to ride 18 is great We were paired with a 14 year old young man - name in Nolan. A great young man, very polite, knows the corse which helped us and a lot of game. He’s often there so try to team up with him. I give 4 stars because you can tell many of the holes had not had the pin relocated in several days and on the practice putting greens, they had so much grass growin…

Great Course. Wide open and shorter. Nice for beginners and high handicaps. Couple of the greens were in a little rougher shape otherwise would have been 5star.
