Country Lake Golf Club

The course is in average shape. I have been playing this course for 20+ years. Much too expensive for the product. My opinion is the greens won't last much past June if this shape they are in April. Fairways are in good condition, tee boxes are average. No cart person on a Saturday at noon. No water on coolers on course. Staff not very friendly. Also they were offering greens fees for $39 on golf now. I apparently made the mistake of calling course directly and making tee time. They charged $59. I guess it's a penalty for the staff to answer phone and write down a tee time?

Played in a 25 team 3 man scramble here on 11/8. Pace of play was 6+ hours to finish 18. Took us 3 hours to finish 9 holes and there were 4 teams of 3 (12 people) starting on our starting hole while we drove by other holes that had no teams starting on them at all. We decided to time hole 18 to see how long it would take - got to it at 10:07 and finished the hole at 10:49. Had to leave 5 holes early because we wouldn't have had time to finish the tournament with somewhere to be. No Marshall or cart person driving around. Greens were not in the best of shape. Difficult to find a shot in the rough. Course layout was fine. A bit pricey. But they did accommodate our group which was a last minute booking.

5 stars. Great value for what it delivers. Fun little course. Not perfect. But thankful the new owners saved it

Beautiful course, competitively priced tee times. Full service clubhouse. Well tended greens and fairways. Challenging course but I wish there were more bunkers.

Waiting on hole 6 and been playing 2 hours 🫤😴💀. Brutally slow.

Worst golf experience I have had in a long time. Booked a tee time at 2:00 today and ended up getting stuck in between a golf tournament. After playing for 5 1/2 hours we did not even get to finish the course. A marshal approached us and asked if we were apart of the tournament, we told him we were not and he told us there was no way we were supposed to be where we were. So not only did I waste 5 1/2 hours being stuck in a scramble for no reason, I got accused of lying and skipping holes by the marshal. You're better off spending the extra money playing at other courses in the area.

8 min tee times, sub par greens tee boxes and fairways, brutal pace of play. Take some of that money you are getting by scheduling 8 min tee times and make your course better

I played a round here yesterday and I'll start off by saying I know it was early in the year so I knew the conditions wasn't going to be the best. First off you can at least have someone drive the course and empty all the trash can in the morning or at the end of the night. All the trash can were full and trash laying on the ground next to the trash can. If a tree falls in the fairway can you please cut it up and remove it. Worst course I've played in awhile. The coarse is lacking drainage in many areas, massive trees fallen in the fairways, and trash (a lot of it) covering almost every tee box because their trashcans are full. Will never golf here again, sad because it has potential.

90% of the holes are dead straight with nothing to hit around. The tee boxes were hard as a rock, and the greens were really dry
