Woods Fort Country Club

A group of senior golfers played Woods Fort on 2/25/26 and had a great time. The course can and will be much better as spring arrives, but it played as expected. Woods Fort has always been one of my favorites courses to play in the area. A shout out to Angie Colbert in the Pro Shop. Angie is always cheerful, helpful and works to promote everything that Woods Fort is! Fun Golf!

New Clubhouse is nice! Staff is friendly and provides great service. I had the meatloaf and it was tasty. The tacos were great as well. Kitchen was fast. I will return.

Course and new clubhouse are fantastic. There is nothing second class here. The carts with ball washers are new. The greens are in great shape, the tee boxes are great. The fairways are great. The new clubhouse is fantastic as I said. Bar, restaurant, gathering center or banquet room,4 simulators. Over the top experience.

Myself and my co workers had a little employee appreciation party at woodsfort and our experience couldn’t have been better. We tried multiple appetizers and different dishes, all amazing. Our server Ashley was very professional and friendly and so were the pro shop workers. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to host a party with great service, big or small, this is it.

Angie was very professional and helpful. She seems to like her job and that's what our group likes. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Absolutley beautiful golf course. Very well maintained. Course in great shape and well manicured. Only complaint was on 2 holes pin placement was unfair. Could not make ball stop within 5 ft of hole. Rolls 10 ft downhill even when putting up hill. Course was great. Restaurant was awesome.

Rebuilt and better than ever! Definitely one of the nicer venues in Troy. The Mahi Tacos were great and 1/2lb burgers tasty! Probably our new default eatery!

As a golfer who plays all the courses in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties there is nothing that compares to the Woods Fort Golf Course staff! Angie Colbert and Jason Cooper excel in customer service. From the moment you enter the club house they make you feel welcomed and appreciated. It is always an excellent experience.

We had such a great time here! The food was absolutely delicious — super fresh and full of flavor. I especially loved the Boursin Chicken… seriously amazing. The staff was really friendly and made us feel right at home. Service was fast, and the vibe of the place was fun and relaxed — perfect for a night out with friends or a chill date night. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

We held a bridal shower for my niece in the small banquet room at Woods Fort. The experience we amazing! From coordinating all the details, to the food, expecially the cleanliness of our space, made the event perfect!

The new clubhouse is nice, the carts are great, and the course is maintained decent enough to get your money's worth but there's one major downside: The layout is terrible and it's not challenging in a fun way. If you're a scratch golfer that hits every fairway you might enjoy this course but for the average golfer there are too many blind holes to the point where you basically need a spotter on almost every hole. For people complaining about pace of play, it's probably because you have to spend so much time searching for your balls because you can't see where they go, and if it's cart path on…

Today was our first time here and also our last. The experience was incredibly disappointing. My husband was golfing as a single player and I just rode along. Upon arrival, the owner told us to skip hole #1, and go to #2 to get in front of a large party, which we appreciated very much. A few holes later, we caught up to another party who happily let us go ahead of them as well. On hole #9, we were confronted by an employee on a golf cart who told us that we had thrown off the entire course by skipping around... he explained that, despite the hole behind us being empty (which had been the case…
