In summary

Dad Miller Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, well-maintained layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with a convenient location and decent amenities, including a clubhouse and driving range. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow play, particularly during tournaments, and there have been concerns about customer service at the pro shop and driving range, with reports of unavailability of carts and ball dispensers.

For a public course in California the price can't be beat for 18 holes with a cart. The course condition was ok but I wasn't expecting Torrey Pines. You kinda know what you are getting for the price and I was 100% ok with it. The staff was friendly and Debbie behind the bar poured a great Capt and diet coke. I'm from Wisconsin and this was my first time golfing in California. We had a blast!! It was a pretty challenging course and I'd definitely come back when in the area.

Decent 18-hole course. I've only been playing 2 years and it was pretty challenging. You'll use all your clubs, and bring lots of balls. Be advised they don't sell any canned drinks only fountain drinks at the clubhouse. We played a twilight round so it was not very crowded relatively affordable. Unfortunately though we were behind a junior tournament (all walking) so the pace was slow. I can see this course being very popular since it is centrally located. The driving range is across the street and you can't take your cart with you.

Booked a morning tee time but was forced to cancel upon arrival due to limited push cart availability. There was no prior notice that riding carts were not allowed because of wet conditions, and this information was not communicated at all during booking. What made it worse was the staff — they were unhelpful and showed no concern whatsoever. After a long drive to get there, it was extremely disappointing to have to cancel without any reasonable support or solution. A real shame and very poor customer experience

Great local course played many times can play slower just because of crowds in California especially on back nine. But always fun and a good challenge on an old course with beautiful huge trees

Showed up at the range this morning at 8AM and the ball dispenser was closed. I ended up waiting 40 minutes before I decided to leave since the person collecting the balls never came back to fill the machine. During this time multiple people were walking onto the range and picking up balls themselves so they could hit while other people were hitting. Someone is going to get hurt eventually from this. This isn’t the first time this has happened I don’t know what they changed but I’m either waiting for a spot to open up or waiting for balls to get added to the machine. If you’re thinking of g…

I arrived at the driving range around 5:30 PM yesterday afternoon, but the ball dispenser was already closed, and a worker had gone out to pick up golf balls. Exactly 45 minutes later, the dispenser reopened. However, by that time, a number of people had arrived to practice, and they were forced to wait an additional 30 to 40 minutes for their turn. Unfortunately, this wasn't the end of the issue. At 7:20 PM, the dispenser was closed again, so I approached a staff member and asked what was going on. At that time, there were two workers present and three people still waiting for golf balls. H…

Great golf course for walking while enjoying playing golf. It's just off the 91 FWY. They do hold junior tournaments here so play after 12 Noon is best.

Awesome course. You can't beat the prices. Driving range is across the street, but you purchase the range cards at the clubhouse. Course is well laid out. Not too challenging but can be tough close to the greens.

The first tee is across street from the address they give you and since in fact doesn't have any address you have to go to 430 N Gilbert, park your car , then walk all the way back, cross the street and you are on the training range and first tee.
