front nine is well maintained and a good course for the beginner kind of golfer but still a bit of challenge Tuesday 9-2-25 was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the course

Love this place. It's a very friendly place to play some golf, eat and relax. Very well maintained course and outside patio areas. Every meal we've ever had was at the least "good", most very good. Am sad to hear Charlie and Colleen have decided to sell, but understand why. Hard to believe any new owner will put in the extra effort they have, but let's hope. Will still frequent the place in the future.

Course was in terrible condition, at least the back nine that we played. Grass was sparse had a Arizona feel to it. Tee boxes were nearly barren of grass. Interesting holes and scenic with plenty of wildlife to warrant the 2 stars. Absolutely shameful they charge what they do for the conditions we golfed in. Chose NOT to golf the other nine because of those reasons. Golfed in much better conditions also a better price while in the area.

We were looking forward to golfing at Desmidts with our in laws who are Crivitz locals. We are beginner golfers who were just looking to try our hand on the golf course and have some family fun. Ranger Jean approached us with distaste right off the bat. Instead of giving us any tips or pointers for the golf course she got angry with us and made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we left before even finishing hole 2. There was a really kind man who had been working there for 24 years who was apologetic and helped us get a refund which was very much appreciated. This was such a bummer a…

Overall a great place for golf. Front 9 is interesting and great for beginners. Back 9 is grueling and long and requires you to be decent at swinging or else you'll be back there forever. I'm not a huge fan for the "starter" they have patrolling the course... More so because on multiple experiences this person was grumpy and not very personable. Not every time but enough to leave a little impact.

We golfed the front 9, beautiful course! We saw plenty of deer, a fox, and a mama and her baby turkeys while golfing. The owner and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!!

Beautiful wide open back 9, a par 3 front 9 course. Worth every penny. Greens were well maintained and plenty of space between golfers to enjoy the course.

Went for a drive with my new wife and went north and ended up seeing a sign for "best prime rib " so turned around to go find this place, was worth the drive, 1 1/2 hour drive. Going to be going back each year for our anniversary . Thanks for a great place to spend our anniversaries for years to come. Fred and Barbara.

The front nine is a nice par 3 course. We always enjoy playing a round here. The back 9 is a lot more challenging but it's beautiful and a lot of fun.

I enjoyed numerous meals here over the summer! The food is always excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, and the owners make you feel like family! When we have guests in town, it is certain that their visit will include DeSmidt's; especially if it's a Saturday night when they have live music too!
