The course is in great shape, especially considering they had a couple of inches of rain 2 days ago. The greens are fast, but fair and true. We will play again!

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. I have played at DG&LC many times and never had a bad experience (other than not playing anywhere near my best on some visits). The course is generally in very good shape and the staff seem knowledgeable, efficient, and on top of things. Food in the restaurant is not bad either, and the servers are friendly and the deck is nice. Practice facilities are quite good. Their driving range app works too. Pricing can sometimes be high but other times not bad. Your individual mileage may vary

Had 4 golfers and 1 of my kids riding along. Pro shop manager pulled us aside before we tee’d off, was rude and told me he would make an exception but this is never allowed again. Charged me $20 for the ride along even though I paid for 18 holes and told them we were only playing 9. I was happy to pay but it really doesn’t seem necessary to nickel and dime me. Terrible attitude and customer service. Clubs should support the interest of kids not be rude to their parents in front of kids. Makes my kids feel unwelcome. This is my first time out to this course. The fairways are a little narrow but very playable. The greens are well kept. We had to deal with a ton of machinery due to upkeep, but we had no issues. I really don't like playing this close to people's homes. We literally had to jump into people's back yard to pick up a few slices.

Nice course, in good shape, and can usually find a good deal. Singles be aware, they charge you extra when you check in to ride solo in a cart, even after pre paying online. I didn't like that.

It’s my home course. It’s challenging, but fair. It does get backed up. It gets an average review because there are other golf courses close by which play nice, are just as well kept (Heritage Oaks, Chevy Chase) but treat you like a person. The clubhouse staff is matter of fact and defer to the starters who are almost universally arrogant and inflexible, noncourteous and sometimes downright rude. The Superintendent should send the staff to Chevy Chase for lessons in manners and customer service. They get it.

1. ZERO WATER on course. 88* and they didn’t even set up 1 igloo cooler, anywhere! 2. ZERO beverage cart service. So I couldn’t purchase water either! 3. ZERO rangers on duty 4. Extremely aggressive starter. I mean, atleast pretend you appreciate the business. As a single golfer, I noticed that all golfers at the first tee were respectful to the staff & other golfers. I thoroughly enjoyed the golf course. Played in early November, course was in outstanding condition. Greens were true and fast. Best $50 I've spent in a long time

Here is the email that I sent to the 4 people in charge and have yet to hear anything back. Falls in line with the rest of the complaints. Great practice facility and always a well kept course.

Horse is an excellent condition, the greens were very true and fast. Couse was fun to play, especially the back nine. Looked like the golf carts are recently replaced

Played this course on 5/12/2024. I was part of a foursome with a 0920 tee time. I arrived early to use the practice facilities prior to my round. Checkin at the ProShop was a breeze. Practice area was great! We tee'd off ontime. Course is a bit wet in areas so the rough was just that rough. Tough attimes to locate my many wayward shots. I did however find them all. Beer cart came by to check on us several times! Saw the Ranger once or twice and he was very friendly. We finished about 10 minutes over the recommended time for 18 holes. Never felt pressured to play faster even though we lost site…
