Traditions at Chevy Chase Country Club

Had played the first 9 holes golf here and it is a nice course with just enough huddles like bunkers and lakes. Had a great time playing. Wish the restaurant does not close so soon. By the time we finished our round of golf they were ready to shutdown the bar/restaurant

Easily one of the finest courses in the area. I love playing here. That said, last time I came to golf, I set up a tee time and showed up to find the pro shop staff leaving before I could check in. My tee time included a cart, but when I asked the manager if I could have one, he laughed and said I was lucky he was allowing me to golf at all. Again, I had a tee time. I am not sure how they decided to leave with golfers still waiting to tee off. It’s unfortunate that such a premium course had to be tainted by - I’m very sorry to say - truly unprofessional staff.

I had Nikah (Islamic marriage) ceremony at Chevy Chase Country Club in their Devonshire room in December of 2018. My primary contact at Chevy Chase was Kelsi who was BEYOND phenomenal! My husband and I got married at Chevy Chase August 24th of this year! We had our ceremony on the first tee and our reception in the Devonshire Room! We had our wedding at Chevy Chase in June 2019 Devonshire room- coordinator: Jan . The venue is absolutely perfect and beautiful. Getting everything started there the coordinators were very nice in their tour and everything was great. They offer a package where they give you a wedding coordinator too. I would HIGHLY recommend you hire your own. They are far too busy and don't ACTUALLY help with coordinating at all. We just had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING!!! The venue recently had face lift. The place has been completely remodeled and it unbelievable. If you haven't been there in the last 6 months - you have to check it out. The staff at Chevy Chase is very helpful and responsive. Had our wedding reception here & everything was perfect! Jane & Johnathan went above & beyond to make our day PERFECT! Food was amazing, cake was delicious, our guests had an amazing time & we recieved so many compliments. I would highly recommend having your wedding here. I promise you wont regret it!!

Lovely event space for many occasions! Attending a wedding here and had access to a huge ballroom, patios, bar, lounge, dining room, etc. Elegant and classy yet not over the top. Service was excellent as was the entire ceremony. I would recommend this venue for a wedding, birthday, or other similar celebration.

Chevy Chase wasn't originally on our list of venues to consider, but I'm so glad my mom suggested it. With a fairly recent renovation, the Devonshire room and its 2 walls of windows was a fabulous setting for our ceremony and reception. Please excuse me while I ramble about all the great things.... Had our wedding ceremony on the patio and reception in the Grand Ballroom a couple weeks ago and it was a dream come true!!
