What People Say

In summary

Dogwood Lakes Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging and unique course layout, reasonable pricing, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors commend the improvements made by the new management, particularly in course maintenance and amenities like the clubhouse and food offerings. However, some golfers note that the greens and certain facilities could still benefit from further enhancements, and there have been occasional issues with online booking systems.

Nice community course. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. I play this course regularly and is one of my favorite local courses. And they do a great job hosting high-school tournaments

A buddy and I drove from Grand Ridge. To play at Dogwood Lakes Golf Course. I had never been to this golf course, but I wasn't disappointed. The fairways were beautiful and challenging. Neither one of us is very good at golf, but we enjoy being out there. The course is very challenging. It has some long par 5s that we challenge you. After we finished our 18th hole where is the clubhouse they were very friendly and the food was good we will be back

We had a Great Night of Comedy & really enjoyed the relaxed & laid back, fun loving atmosphere! It was clear that everyone was there to have a good time and it was a really friendly, mature, fun, crowd, without any bad attitudes in the whole place! They had complimentary snacks available like boiled peanuts, & Cajun boiled peanuts, pork skins, pretzels, and other delicious treats! The bar was available and drinks were very reasonably priced too, and bartenders were excellent and cheerful!!! You could tell that it was a well run affair, put on by fun loving friends, that were hosting this even…

The greens need work but overall a nice course. The online booking with golf now doesn't work though. I booked online and they didn't have a tee time. They said that golf now doesn't communicate with their system. The staff were super accommodating and I really appreciate that. They got me out within an hour of when I booked and they were busy that day. I think they need to talk to golf now reps because this is one of the few course I've heard that had this problem. Online booking is the norm for most everyone today and is a real convinence. I'm think golfnow needs to provide training. I'll de…

I'm not sure what the deal is with the greenskeeper, but they turned the sprinklers on while I was in the middle of a putt. Seriously? Mind you ,this was at 8 am on a Sunday morning. It's not only incredibly frustrating but also just plain rude. The rest of the course was in pretty good shape, and the layout is nice, but that one moment completely ruined the experience. Management needs to have a talk with their staff about basic golf etiquette.

decided to take a drive and check out this course. I saw the signs to the course when I was leaving, but missed them on the way there, that could make finding the place easier. course was good, not great, but the price was good. I'm sure I'll head back that way in the future.

If you don’t come out here expecting Augusta National conditions, you’ll have a good time. It’s a very fairly priced course in an area where most courses aren’t priced fairly. I’ve been here twice now, walked in with no tee time and finished a round in less than 3 hours both times. Edit: this is not to say that the conditions are bad either. A few tee boxes can be patched up sure, but it’s similar if not better to courses like sunny hills, legacy, and others while remaining budget friendly.

$40.00 for 18 holes and a cart A fun course to play. Unfortunately, the course needs a lot of work. I would recommend with the understanding have an open mind. You can enjoy playing Dogwood Lakes if you know the course is not in great shape

Great course, interesting layout. Plenty of challenge to be had. The staff are so nice. They offer discounts for military and first responders also! I enjoyed my round there and would return if I'm in the area.

Nice golf course with reasonable prices. Mostly tree lined fairways with a lot of leaves, thickets, and such if you can’t hit a pretty straight tee shot or control your flight. Pretty good fairways and greens were in good shape the day we played. Greens had been rolled the mourning we played so were pretty fast and interesting with the undulations. Enjoyed playing there and look forward to another round there.

Dogwood Lakes is a challenging but fun course to play, with tree lines fairways. Most of the greens are in great shape. But at under $40.00 for a round of golf it is a great value. The course staff are also very nice and helpful.
