Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course

My experience at this golf course was mixed. The grounds could benefit from better maintenance, and some facilities, such as the toilets and ball cleaners, were not in the best condition. For first-time players, a clearer course map and improved hole directions would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, easy access for homeless individuals impacted the atmosphere during my visit. While I likely won’t be returning, I understand that your experience might be entirely different.

The gentleman at the pro shop who checked us in was friendly and gave us some pointers on the course before heading out. From the first hole, the course was challenging with a lot of trees. Most of the greens were good, but some had sections under repair. The food at the restaurant smelled amazing, but I did not have time to check it out. We will definitely come back and play again, hopefully shave a couple of strokes now that we have been through the course

I played Dry Creek Golf Course on Saturday 1/20 with a group of friends. The course itself is great — nice greens, well maintained fairways, and the food and bar were solid. Overall, the facilities are definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by the course marshal. We felt targeted as a group, as he followed us and watched us hit across multiple holes. It became distracting and made it hard to fully enjoy our round. Because of that experience, it’s hard for me to recommend coming back despite how nice the course is.

I will give them zero star if I can. Site said $55 when we booked, then we got charged $65. I will never go back here even if it's free. I should trusted the reviews, and y'all have me trust me on this. The overall course condition is unplayable.

Nice golf course and is fairly challenging to play. Many trees on the course, almost too many and their presence DOES impact your game. Many of the greens are in sub par shape and need attention. of the 18 greens, two were in outstanding shape. I WOULD play the course again but the course needs more love which translates into putting more of the budget into the course. I did see the new bridge and am glad we did get off to an early start because it is a course that does get significant play. The kitchen and bar needs some upgrading.

On New Year's Eve, a buddy and I played Dry Creek GC in Gault. It was a cold, wet, and foggy day. The range was closed due to flooding. The putting green was open and in good shape. The first tee box was in ok condition but did need maintenance (as others do - see photos). The fairways showed a lack of maintenance. Beyond Disgusting – Complete Lack of Maintenance!!! How is the condition of the restroom at the 14th tee box acceptable after paying $70 for a round? This is easily the most disgusting thing I’ve seen on a golf course. Looking at previous reviews, this was reported 4 months ago, and it has actually managed to get worse. They charge $60.00 to put on these greens. The course is Impossible to have a serious round. Many of the greens are inaccessible due to overgrown foliage.

This park is huge, they have many different gardens, several sections of shaded lawn area with barbecue areas. Even a zoo and a small carnival for the children.

This place has went down hill so fast. The guy working the pro shop was so rude . There was a mistakeb on are tee time and instead of trying a way to figure something out he kept arguing .We ended up moving the tee time. So we paid $65 and headed in to get some food .Waited like 10 min finally a lady came out said u want something ya some food she says no food just turned on stove it will b an hour.so we said screw it went and played the greens were horrible no one fixed there divots ,slow play no marshal . If you haven't been in a while, give it a chance! One of the better layouts in the Sacramento area and they have it in great shape.

Sadly, If I could give a -2 stars, I would. This course at one time, definitely had the potential to be a great track. Did the ownership just give up at some point? The course/facilities conditions reflect an attitude of defeat. The employees seem miserable, as if they are being punished by working there. The guy behind the counter in the restaurant seemed angry, like he was on his last nerve and on the verge of arguing.
