I love playing at Spanos—it’s one of the best courses in the area. The course itself is a lot of fun, with challenging windy conditions and great water holes that really make you think through each shot. It’s also consistently well-maintained, which makes every round enjoyable. What really elevates the experience, though, is Craig. He’s always welcoming, personable, and goes out of his way to make sure everything runs smoothly. From check-in to accommodating any needs, he consistently delivers great service. Craig is a big reason why my experiences at Spanos have been so enjoyable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Reserve at Spanos is my home course, and it’s easily one of my favorite places to play golf. The course is always in great shape, with well-maintained fairways, challenging greens, and a layout that is both fun and rewarding for golfers of all skill levels. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, making every visit enjoyable. One of the best parts of The Reserve is the scenery. The lakes, wildlife, and overall course design make for a beautiful round of golf. The pace of play is usually good, and the practice facilities are a great bonus. Whether I’m playing a casual round…

My experience was excellent. Rebeca was very professional and she over exceeded my expectations. We did an Army retirement for my husband. Food was great and more than enough. There staff was great!!! And the venue was simple and classy. Location was secluded just want I needed for a suprise party.I will definitly book through them again for future events.

Was actually expecting more, as some golfers recommend it, meanwhile, their clubhouse is looking nice. The golfer I played with is from local, he also claimed that this summer is too hot to play here, no trees and shadows, everywhere is brownish wild grass. The Front 9 is really not much fun, some holes need to drive the ball across the lake, that's it; but the Back 9 is much better, some more Salfest Oak Trees, especially by the green of Hole 10. I like the green of Hole 12, the entire Hole 13, and Hole 16 is surely challenging, first is a big fairway bunker waiting for you, and followed b…

We celebrated our wedding here. Everything was FABULOUS. Affordable, beautiful, elegant, and excellent service. Rebecca was our coordinator at the venue and she made sure our day went smooth and gave such valuable insights and advice. I’m so grateful for the way we were accommodated, and it truly was an unforgettable magical night. 10 stars!!!!!!!!’ Also, the food was great!!!!!!!

Played 12/2/22 Combo Tees Day after 1" rain, course was in nice shape except for some bumpy greens from the soft conditions and ball marks, Fairways and tee boxes A+.. POP 4:15. Workers were remodeling the bunkers with new sand and drainage and the completed bunkers looked nice, The course is experiencing a face lift on the back nine. Pleasant day no wind but temps in lower 50s. Course not that difficult and walkable.

We held my son’s 1st birthday party at the Spanos Reserve. We went through the event coordinator, Ms. Paola. It was so easy to get a hold of her. She returned my call within a day or two. Then had set up an in person meeting few days after. She is the epitome of professional. She had the hall ready for us to see, portfolios for us to read over, and numbers to go over that day. Months leading up to our son’s event, Ms. Paola was super responsive and communicative. You get what you pay for! The price was the only thing I was worried about, but luckily she offered us payment plans and that helped…

Played here yesterday and what a great course. For around $75 for the round, one of the better course conditions I've seen in the valley. Beautiful layout, great pace of play. Overall, wonderful experience. Not to mention reasonably priced drinks!

My friend and I played The Reserve for the first time and played with another twosome who were very friendly and showed us around the course. We had a great time. The course was in great shape. It was foggy the first couple of holes then the sun broke through. We can’t wait to play again. We ate lunch there afterwards and the service was great along with the food.

Playing this course in the spring is a delight. Winter and spring rains make the greens and fairways some of the best in California. Reasonable rates, friendly staff, full bar, clean carts, and a fantastic driving range make the trip here worth it. Greens were fast and challenging. Fairways were well maintained and had plenty of places to penalize an errant tee shot or second shot. Will definitely be making a return trip.
