Lockeford Springs Golf Course

Great golf course, fairways and greens were in excellent shape!! The course itself is very flat but don't let that fool you there are a lot of holes that will catch your attention, lol! The water is actually clean and it doesn't smell like a sewer when you get close to it. There is water out there but it's not diabolical, lol, it's water that with a decent shot you can easily clear. That doesn't mean you can't hit it in the water, you definitely can so don't take it for granted!!! Enjoy the course!!

Friendly staff, course in beautiful shape, punched greens and will be perfect in a week or so! Will be back!

Good value for the price, course is nice. Play can be slow at times (4.5+ hours), especially during Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Try to get early tee times if time is of the essence but tee times are much cheaper during the afternoon, pick your poison. Good for casual play and friendly staff.

Micke Grove has got to be the best public course in the Stockton area!! Beautiful, lush fairways and perfectly maintained greens. If you have trouble with water hazards (like I do) you will hate the 5th hole par 5. I swear they have placed ball magnets in the water on both sides of the very narrow fairway!! Aside from that, I totally recommend playing a round at Micke Grove!

Love this place . Wish they had more restrooms throughout the course but other than that had a lot of fun playing here

Awesome public Golf Course 30 minutes South of Elk Grove CA. without heavy traffic. Stay very late during the summer time. Grass driving range, chipping and putting greens. The fairways and greens are well taken care off. Challenging place to play for beginners and high handicapper.

Crummy course for $73 bucks. And they pack people in like sardines. 6 hour round is ridiculous

Great course. Good condition good driving range. Everything about it is good. Only issue is it's very busy. Lot of slow play

Love the course, it’s always in great shape, prices are great and beat the competition in the area. One guy that works the front desk just ruins it for me. He’s arrogant and never willing to help out, asked how much a price is at twilight and he would only tell me the “all you can play” pricing. Have had a few issues with him. Hope he retires soon.

I really wanted to enjoy this course, but the pace of play is absolutely atrocious. It took us 4.5 hours to play just 15 holes—and we finally gave up before finishing. When we asked about pace enforcement, we were told they only address it if someone calls it in. That’s a major red flag. Courses should be actively managing the flow of play, not waiting for complaints. A round of 18 should take 4.5 hours total, not that long for 15 holes. It’s frustrating to see a great layout and decent conditions completely undermined by poor management and zero accountability on the course. Until they take…

This is a hard course, but it's well kept, the bunkers got a lip to them so you really got to get under the ball in there. Luckily the fairways are pretty wide so it's a little forgiving if you keep it decently straight. It's a fun course. The beer cart comes around frequently so you can keep a buzz goin ;)
