In summary

Dwan Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course and challenging layout, making it a favorite for many golfers. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the customer service, particularly regarding booking and cart policies, and note issues with slow pace of play. Despite these concerns, the course remains popular due to its affordability and scenic setting.

Went to go play golf with my younger siblings 1 of which only 13 years old. Booked a tee time online and noticed they did not offer a junior fee. Fine. Paid for me and my 2 siblings as well as one of my friends and it was 160 for 4. Very good price. Especially because the listing for the time said carts would be included. We were playing after 3:30 mind you so it was later in the day. Arrived to the course, told me they did not have me down for carts, so had to charge me 80 dollars extra to ride in carts. My friend is unable to walk 18 holes, as he has an issue with his feet so carts were esse…

VERY expensive for youth to play AND additional high fee for parent to accompany. We had sticker shock. Shame they do not support the youth of Bloomington more fairly. As Bloomington residents, we will stick to Braemar youth course in Edina - MUCH more affordable and no fee for parents.

The was my first time playing Dwan and will definitely not be my last. First of all the course is beautifully maintained. The entire staff i dealt with was extremely friendly from the starter to all the grounds keepers and the Marshal. And the layout i just loved just a real pretty course. It became my favorite course to play, going to be my go to from here on out

Holes are crammed into one another as the property is simply too small to fit the 18 holes. For a long driver, most par 4's are drivable. For shorter drivers, this course is going to fit perfect. Course is decently maintained for a city owned course. Not a full par 70 but also has some par 4s / short par 5.

The course was beautiful and a good challenge. Unfortunately the course staff didn’t match the course. We were told on hole one to “Take our time” due to a younger group of teenage girls in front of us. Then on the third or fourth hole we were reprimanded for holding up the rate of play and told to speed it up. We were a group of 4 with 2 riders and 2 walkers. After that hole we were “visited” by the course assistant every couple holes. Right as we one of us was taking our next shot, causing us to pause and slowing us down even further. At the turn we said we were going to let the group behind…

Great course and at an affordable rate! The course is well maintained and has a fun/challenging design. I will be coming back here.

So over priced for a par 68! Charged my fiancé $37 just to walk the course not play just walk. I paid $44 to play the course, so you’re telling me the trail fee is 5X the cost of the greens fee??? Got followed by the ranger for the last 4 holes even tho we were waiting 5+ minutes on each tee box and finally a par 3 18th hole is ludicrous.

I was invited to join 3 members of the family for 9 holes of golf. That in itself is a special treat! Then the golf course added to the great time. Well kept, efficient check in and challenging golf holes tell the story. For a senior golfer, it was a fine way to enjoy some "family time".

Terrible calling experience with a lady named Gaby there, was rude, interrupted me when I tried asking questions as if she knew what I was asking (she didn't and I had to continue to try to get my question out and she answered by asking me questions) She finally answered my question, and immediately asked for my phone number and booked me for 4 for 18 (not what I wanted) and said we will see ya than and hung up. (I had another question in regards to booking) She has no business working the phone, would barely even allow me to speak. "Staff quite rude when I attempted to book a tee time with…

Echoing a lot of the customer service complaints already mentioned, it’s not good at all. Had my wife turned away from riding along last year as well and we were treated like we were stupid for thinking that was allowed when it’s the only course I’ve ever heard of having this insurance policy. I get following your insurance policy but maybe advocate for changing it when you are getting tons of complaints about it? Also echoing complaints about the older woman answering phones, I’m assuming it’s this Gabby character mentioned several times in the reviews. I have kids and have a hard time getti…

Beautiful, well run, loaded with typical golf course characters in the clubhouse and the starter station. This course is a gem. Greens fees are reasonable. If you play top courses, where the greens roll fast and true, you will be complaining. The greens here are true, but also soft and a little slow.
