In summary

Braemar Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, diverse layout, and extensive practice facilities, making it a top choice for golfers in the Twin Cities area. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with beautiful greens and a scenic setting. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent customer service, slow pace of play, and limited tee time availability for non-residents.

Finally got a tee time to get 18 holes in. Took 5 months. Great layout. Diverse design. Firm greens. Challenging track. Just wish Edina residents didn't eat up all the slots and public non Edina residents had more opportunities.

Played here for the first time today, overall course condition was very good. Price seems to be fair for the upkeep and good looking greens and tee boxes, the food and drinks are a little bit more expensive than all the other courses I have played, we saw the ranger one time throughout 18 holes. Started on hole 10 and saw him on hole 16, the pace of play was awesome until the last 9 holes 1-9. No one was out to keep pace of play, group ahead of us were 2-3 holes behind the next group and couldn’t do anything about pace of play since no one was there to enforce it. GPS on carts had the other ca…

My top pick for public courses in the Twin Cities. Putting green, chipping, and bunker practice area. Exciting Championship course, doesn’t get old.

First time here. Nice place to visit the driving range. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ball machine was easy to use, although be sure to put your basket close to the dispenser — about 5 balls didn’t go in the basket and had to chase after them! Even though it looked like a lot of spots available, it was so busy at the time I was ready to go that I needed to wait for someone to leave. Also, someone almost took a spot nearby that was occupied when that person went to buy another bucket of balls — even with their golf bag still on the grass at their spot!

What a great experience for Minnesota adaptive golf tournament. Staff and volunteers amazing. One of the best fun golf coursesI have played. Amazing course conditions. Driving range putting and chipping area. If you leaving in the area or visiting Braemer is a must for golfers.

Nothing better than walking an old course that I learned how to golf on years ago, walk my dog, enjoy a perfect La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero perfectly oiled Chisel cigar in tow and doing my favorite hobby. Photos. Well..cigars and photos. If I cannot see ski...or golf...or ice dance...then strolling with my dog it will be :*!)

Chilly 9 hole round at Braemer. Maybe the last round before snow. The fairways and greens were still in good condition. Will play Braemer again next summer 😉

New to the area this summer. Golfed the Academy 9 three times. Love the course, it’s beautiful and fun for all levels. However, each interaction with the check-in staff was disappointing and frustrating. Staff was rude, no eye contact, didn’t listen to answers to questions. On the first visit, my husband inquired about a senior rate. Man responded “I will ask the questions here”. Really sours the whole experience.

Course was in good shape, the rough and nature areas are very unforgiving. The course sets up perfectly for my game and I know I could shoot well here if I played it more. Greens were disappointing. They were aerated, sandy and fast but rolled pretty true. Would like to play here more often.

Beautiful public courses the academy nine is perfect for those morning rounds before work. The championship is one of the nicest in Minnesota. Their chipping and putting greens are awesome with lots of challenging looks.
