In summary

Glen Lake Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained and challenging 9-hole layout, friendly staff, and excellent practice facilities, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of the starter marshal, citing issues with being rushed and poor customer service, which has affected their overall experience. Despite this, many find the course enjoyable and a good value for a quick round of golf.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this golf course. The older gentleman working in the pro shop was incredibly rude, dismissive, and disrespectful from the moment I walked in. Customer service clearly means nothing here. I was treated like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer, and the interaction completely ruined the experience before I even got to the course. There’s no reason anyone should be spoken to the way I was. I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this course to others if this is how they treat people.

Oh my goodness they made it so easy! I just decided to get my grandson a little fresh air somehow I was able to pull them away from his video games and he found a new game! The clubhouse folks were so friendly and kind understanding that I'm just a parent-type person introducing these two boys to the game called Golf! I love the excitement it was a little bit busy that Sunday afternoon but everybody was so well behaved and polite and everyone took turns and we waited patiently for hours. The putting green was really fun everything was just as it's supposed to be! Brought back lots of good memo…

Great 9 hole Executive course. Forgiving but rewards the shot maker and those that can work the ball. Greens track well and are moderately fast. Very nice range and chip/putting green. The only negative, the beer cart doesn't work enough days.

Great season and course was in wonderful condition all year! Hats off to the staff for the work they did this year. Wish they were still open but all good things must come to an end. See you next year.

If you plan on trying to play as a pair do not try here. Wife and I have never had a good experience even with booking ahead of time. If you're good with joining some other random pair I'm sure you'll be fine. The facilities themselves are well kept, the staff is friendly, the driving range serves it's purpose just fine, and the putting green is decent size for the kind of course this is. Like I said before, though, if you're ok with pairing up with randoms or you're going as a group of four you'll be fine, but we won't be spending anymore time or money here.

The Glen Lake Golf Course is a really nice 9-hole course for a short After-Work Round. However, the course is quite demanding. On the one hand very hilly and on the other hand quite a few bunkers, which demand a lot from you. Highly recommended. I will certainly play again!

Course is great and fun but man the Marshall needs to relax. Telling us to hurry off the first tee (par 3) with people still on the green. Would have smoked them if I hit. The three guys I was paired with were brand new and he was on them immediately telling them to hurry even though they couldn’t swing yet. Nothing like a power tripping starter as your first golfing experience. Multiple times he came by and told us to hurry up but we were literally stuck behind another group the entire round, couldn’t have played faster if we tried. This is a 9 hole course that is pretty beginner friendly, a…

Been around forever.. nice to drive up directly to Range . Plenty of flags, yardage signs. Large practice putting area with variety of slopes and angles. 9 hole Executive course, mature trees, and well maintained when I played. Perfect for a quick tune up. ( if you get to the range late, you may have a tough time finding clean grass , for decent ball placement due to daily traffic and use. ( not much you can due about that )

Great course but the starter made the experience a poor one. He rushed us off the 1st tee even though we were early. Then he shows up on hole 6 telling us to speed up even though we couldn't go anywhere with a group in front of us and to add there was ZERO players behind us. As I read the reviews it looks as this is common behavior from him. I understand trying to promote keeping pace but this was ridiculous. Especially for a small Par 3 course like this and no one being on the course at the time.

Good putting and chipping practice area. Range is very limited. Overused, overpacked, overpriced. But decent spot. Haven’t played it in a while for these reasons, can’t comment on the course conditions. Overall the layout is pretty good tho.

Grouchy marshal for no reason. Calm down and stop rushing people. It will be fine. Bet this place would have a 4.9 rating if it weren’t for him. Losing customers and scaring away new or young golfers because of it. Very unwarranted rude behavior. I don’t know why he’s still employed there.

Definitely a "Hidden Gem" in Eden Prairie - Quick 9 holes before or after work. It is an easy walk, but with two holes that are on the other side of the highway a cart will speed up your travels.
