We had the absolute best experience with Minneapolis Golf Club (MGC) and Nancy! Nancy is the director of catering and does the event planning. She truly was the absolute best to work with! She has been there over 22 years and knows everything there is to know about MGC and weddings. Nancy was great at responding to all of my questions very quickly and was at MGC the day of the day of the wedding to help make sure everything ran smoothly. I have to give a RAVE REVIEW to the Minneapolis Golf Club, Nancy Johnson and her entire staff for executing the wedding of my daughters dreams on Saturday 10/14/23! The venue is beautiful and the ceremony and then reception flip was flawless! As with any large wedding, emotions are high and so is the stress. As we tried to coordinate family photos I didn't convey the right information to our photographer and there was some confusion about where photos could take place. We got married on 10/21 and used Minneapolis Golf Club for our reception and I'm SO glad we did! MGC is affordable and Nancy was a joy to work with! She really knows her stuff, responds to you in less than 24 hours for ANY and ALL questions (and I had a lot!) and made me feel confident about our choices. When we did our final walkthrough, the ball room was already setup so we got to see it and Nancy was able to give us suggestions on layout/seating due to her knowledge and experience. Recently we got to photograph a wedding at the Minneapolis Golf Club, the name is deceiving as it is not in Minneapolis but in St Louis Park and I must say this is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a beautiful location in the west metro check it out!

We absolutely loved our experience with Minneapolis Golf Club. The whole process from booking the venue up to the wedding day was so smooth and perfect. Nancy, the catering/events coordinator was super helpful on making sure everything ran accordingly and is very organized. All of our guests could not get over how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue was. The food and drink minimum are very reasonable considering how much weddings costs these days. I HIGHLY recommend hosting your wedding here.

Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding ceremony and dinner reception here. Beautiful! Food was excellent. Staff was exceptional and attentive to any of the guests' needs. Not even an area power outage during the dance portion of the reception threw the staff for a loop. Could not have been more impressed with the venue and the staff!

We had our wedding here in June and could not have been happier with our experience. Nancy is absolutely amazing - she helps you plan everything and is an invaluable resource. The food was delicious, the place is gorgeous, and the price is reasonable. Thank you Nancy and MGC for making our day so amazing!

I only went here for a catered supper presentation and not for golf. As a place to dine, it was terrific! I would look forward to any future dining experience offered at MGC! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have not golfed this club.

We had our wedding reception at Minneapolis Golf Club in November, 2014, and I am convinced that it is the BEST venue in the Twin Cities! Nancy was so helpful every single step of the way, the club was absolutely gorgeous, and the service was incredible. We had the nicest servers and they made sure everyone - not just the wedding party - was well taken care of throughout the whole evening.
