In summary

Brookview Golf Course receives praise for its well-maintained greens, modern amenities, and a variety of activities such as lawn bowling and pub curling, which make it a popular destination for social outings and events. However, there are frequent criticisms regarding the poor condition of the fairways and tee boxes, with some visitors also noting issues with customer service and the pace of play. Despite these concerns, the clubhouse and event spaces are generally well-regarded for their comfort and service.

Re: the cousre- Been a member for several yrs now. The course is in bad shape. Even tho they've worked on it, it's still pretty rough. So disappointing. They spent a ton of $ for new carts but it's the course that needs the investment. Plus they got rid of their member reciprocity with other couses. Won't be rejoining. Re:The bar and restaurant and gathering spaces, they're good. Lawn bowling, Great place for a party or event.

We had a great evening of pub curling and can’t wait to go back! The setup is all fairly slick - the Three One Six Bar handles all the setup and payment and then you’re good to go for your hour or two. You can bring drinks and food out and it’s a total blast. It was also great to warm up in the very comfortable clubhouse after. We’ll be back for disc golf!

The front nine is in very poor shape. Many of the fairways were bare of grass leading to balls picking up clods of dirt despite drives landing in the fairway. Some of the greens had large dead spots. The tee boxes were very worn. At least it does not cost much to play here!

Had a great time, everything is state of the art! The cart's have GPS so you can see around blind fairways. Also with the GPS you always know how far out the pin is. Greens are fast but everything is in great shape!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place was such a disaster that I felt I had to share. First off, the course is in horrible condition. The tee boxes are uneven, making it tough to even get a decent shot off, and the fairways have huge dead spots. It’s like they don’t even maintain the course properly. It's honestly embarrassing how bad the condition is for a golf course. On top of that, we spent a ridiculous 3 hours to play just 9 holes. It felt like no one cared about the pace of play or customer satisfaction. Played several times and there is never a ranger or anyone out there checking pace…

I rented one of their rooms for an event. It was perfect, light wood paneling gave the room a warm glow. I also bought some refreshments from their catering menu that was the perfect amount and they provided cups and plates. The South Valley Room has a well appointed kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and lots of counter space. A fire place at the front of the room is a nice touch, which I forgot to have turned on.

We came in simply needing 4 green fees, 4 cart fees and an additional cart fee for a ride along, fully prepared to pay all the cart fees. Instead of guiding us through the process, Louise in the pro shop was unnecessarily combative and condescending. As customers, we don’t know all the waivers and procedures—that’s the employee’s job to explain clearly and respectfully. Unfortunately, Louise made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. And instead of explaining the process just kept belittling us with rude comments. To make matters worse, even the starter quietly commented that Loui…

We have played this course many many times and enjoyed it but today was a different story. Due to heavy rains at least half of the holes were in terrible condition. We felt like this should have been disclosed to us while checking in and paying full price to play. At the very least the green fees should have been discounted due to the terrible condition the course was in. When I asked about it after the round I was told sorry but the city makes these decisions. We will probably never come back again because of this experience.

Brookview Golden Valley Golf and Bowling Park is an amazing destination. The golf course offers stunning views and a great challenge for all skill levels. The well-maintained bowling lanes and modern equipment make for a fun experience. The spacious and beautifully decorated party place is perfect for any occasion, with attentive staff ensuring everything is taken care of. Brookview Golden Valley is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed. Whether you love golf, bowling, or need a venue for a special event, this place has it all. Visit and be amazed!

It's a restaurant inside the golf course called club 316, I ordered the Cubano sandwich, good size but for 13 dollars I expect large, interesting take on the Cubano, lots of meat not sure on brown mustard but it was tasty, moderately priced looks like breakfast is cheaper, I'll be back, they have a nice outdoor area to eat looking over the golf course.

This place prices themselves like they are one of the upscale courses in the cities, but they need to get off their high horse and take a solid dose of in reality. I honestly think there are other public city courses that are in better condition at half their price. All tee boxes were in bad shape, fairways were in worse shape than the rough. Lot of drain issues. Greens were in decent enough condition, staff are friendly, and pace of play was incredible, which is the only thing proping up this rating from a 1

Very nice greens, staff was great, fairways were pretty bumpy in a cart. Would love to play it at peak conditions.
