El Conquistador Country Club

We golf the Cañada course which was beautiful. The only thing holding it back is the cart path runs along a MAJOR road way as well as a private driveway stating residents have priority. Other than that, fairways, greens and view were beautiful. The staff were friendly, washrooms were clean, we’ll definitely go back. It was worth the 1 hour drive for us.

Our favorite course in Oro Valley! We have had many great times at this Canada course. It’s very affordable and never disappoints.

Visiting Tucson from Wisconsin to get in a little spring training golf and have to say this experience was quite underwhelming. Terrible logisical hole to hole layout, incredibly unfair good shot rollouts into penalty areas and unsightly waste areas and the lack of expected post round service from your cart crew were disappointing, but the lack of cold beverage cart service was astonishing on a a 9O° day and with packed tee times. Completely no excuse for this. Forgoing a revenue stream is one thing, but jeopardizing your customers safety is entirely another matter! Dehydration was such a thin…

These two 18 hole golf courses are gorgeous! And you just can't beat the Oro Valley weather.

Canada course is super tough and narrow. But it's in good shape and had some nice views. Conquistador was a bit easier and I loved that the replay rate was only $40. Great place to play 36 and the food at the turn was good too.

Obviously off-season stay. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff decent food. Very nice and not crowded. Excellent gift shop. Only disappointment was the spa did not offer pedicures or manicures.

Average golf course, in decent shape. However, the pace of play is horrendous. After waiting for 5-10 minutes on each shot all day, we finally gave up on hole 16 when we crossed into the 5+ hour mark, and just skipped the last two holes. If you plan to play there, make sure you plan on a 6 hour round of golf.

Wonderful course layout and views. Troon managing now so conditions and service are 5-Star. Nice they have 36 holes. Great option for multiple day group trips. Can’t wait to go back.

Played with my grandson n 2 members from the club. Course unlike anything i have seen in illinois. A beautiful course. Big. The two gentlemen we played with were great, and also helped us to find our balls. Had a great time.

Course was in great shape. Ranger was inept. Cart person never came around. Pace of play was very slow. Had a single sneak in front of us after hole 10 sometimes playing two balls. Never going back!!

I want to start by saying The Cañada course itself was amazing. The views were incredible and the greens were immaculate. However, the staff at the facility were subpar and rude. The woman at check in was friendly but everyone else we encountered was not. They also gave us contradicting information more than once. Finally, we did not see a drink cart until hole 17. We really don't expect much as a group but when we splurge on a nicer course we would like the customer service to be at least decent.

Jennifer is awesome! She's professional, efficient, friendly, and responsive to any questions or problems we might have. The course is maintained equally as well as when it was a private club. (Although, the cart paths could use repaving...)
