A golf course built around a rock quarry. Front nine fairways are tight, and back nine fairways are tighter. This course is not for the beginner golfer. But intermediate and advanced golfers will find it to be a pleasurable challenge. Bring extra balls, most of the par threes are over ravines. We will be back to play this course again. We found the course to be very fun and unique.

If you want to lose your love of golf, this is your establishment. They are consistently backed up, 10-15 minute wait on most holes, 30 minute waits on hole 11. Four groups waiting on 11 today. They over book allowing 300 golfers a day in an 9 hour window, 5.5 hour rounds, claiming "it's peak season this is what to expect" but other local courses play more consistently on time. Quarry has no effective marshalling and the pro shop team is unapologetic and rude. Spend your time at other course.

Amazing course, which I have looked at many times and wanted to play. The front nine is a good course. The back 9 is absolutely amazing. The quarry really makes some fun holes. Pace of play was ok, but no ranger to speed up the slow players in front. But in general really enjoyed the experience.

Quarry Pines Golf Club – A Hidden Gem in Tucson! If you’re looking for a unique and enjoyable golfing experience in Tucson, Quarry Pines Golf Club is an absolute must-play! Nestled in a former rock quarry, this course offers a fun and scenic round with dramatic elevation changes, lush fairways, and stunning desert views. The layout is both challenging and forgiving, making it a great option for golfers of all skill levels. The front nine provides a nice warm-up with more open fairways, while the back nine brings in tighter holes and exciting elevation shifts that truly make this course stand…

This place was pretty nice on the front nine, but becomes amazing on the back nine. Challenging course but definitely worth a look. Bring extra balls.

It’s a great track. Although some of the holes are a bit repetitive there are also tons of fun holes with different layouts and some great scoring opportunities too. Lots of cold water stations out on the course which is necessary for the hot summer days. They are updating the bunkers but the newly finished ones were very fluffy and in good condition. I would definitely go back.

Make sure you bring lots of balls. Tight fairways and some incredibly challenging elevation changes, greens mostly ran fast but as expected. Course was in great shape considering we were in a 110F heatwave. Lots of fun even though it took a bite out of me.

We golf in and around Tucson nearly every weekend and have experienced a wide range of courses and service levels — and Quarry Pines truly stood out, thanks in large part to AJ at the front. From the moment we arrived, AJ was personable, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He greeted us with a great attitude and went above and beyond when we were leaving, even coming out to the parking lot to assist us. It’s rare to see that level of initiative and friendliness — AJ wasn’t just doing his job, he was doing it with pride and energy. No laziness here! The course itself was in beautiful shape after…

Great greens on golf course. Great views. Cheap drinks. Played slow on back 9 and the ranger didn’t encourage 2 guys in front of us who kept taking 3-5 practice swings each to pick up the pace. Great price.

Course is in good shape. Very different front and back. Don’t sleep on the food served here, it is fabulous!!! The cart staff and non-existent rangers are a joke. Tee times are properly placed but pace of play very slow. Finished 18 to find two guys sitting in a ranger cart only available to collect tips.

This is truly a hidden gem on our golf trip. Even though this course had no driving range and the carts were outdated and rusty. The course was the most fun and unique layout we played on this golf trip. The conditions can be slightly improved but its not severe. The views were amazing as you play golf in a freaking quarry. So very unique course. I would play it again and strobgly recommend for the very affordable tee times!

Played in early March. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes were great. Fairways were immaculate, and greens were true, fast, but not too fast. Easy location. Front nine was solid, not spectacular. Back nine was spectacular and amazing. Pace of place was very slow though. Almost 5 hours.
