The Golf Club at Dove Mountain might just be my new favorite course in all of Arizona. Everything—from the practice facilities to the course itself—was in absolutely tip-top shape, which is almost impossible to pull off towards the end of an Arizona summer(end of August). The conditions were fantastic, and you can tell they take great pride in maintaining this course. The layout was both challenging and fun, offering a perfect mix of strategy and playability it felt like a few of the greens didn’t roll true. It definitely kept me engaged the entire round, and it didn’t hurt that I played real…

Edit 10/30/2005. It was my 8th time playing here. Never gets old. Course after overseeding so plush and green. Greens fast and tough but fair. Pin Placements cruel but fun. It looks so beautiful out here that it almost doesnt seem real. Kudos to one of thr finest golf staffs around. Edit: Played Dove Mountain for the 6th & 7th time since 2023,back to back mornings. I wish I could tell you its getting old. Its not. No pics are going to do the incredible views of Tucson and The Mountains any justice. While forgiving from the tee box, this is a challenging course from 6700 yards. Loaded with fai…

Very cool track. Gorgeous desert setting, challenging courses. I played the wild burro and saguaro 9’s…..I liked the wild burro more just because of the layout.

Really cool course. Lots of desert crossings so you have to plan your shots accordingly. Visually interesting course! Quick greens and challenging depending on the pin location. Plays fair, but definitely not a beginner course. I'd put this in my top 10 for Arizona courses!

Fantastic round today at Dove Mt. Played Tortolita and Saguaro nines. Both were in awesome shape, the greens were absolute perfection, and really quick with challenging contours. Course staff was super friendly, helpful, and provided great local knowledge before we began our round. If you're looking for a memorable test of desert golf with beautiful views and impeccable conditions, Dove Mt. is your best bet.

The course was fine. Nice enough, in appropriate shape given the cost etc and the pro shop and other staff was fine too. Problem is it’s like playing on a construction site there’s so many homes and other construction going on any chance of feeling like you were playing in the hills was completely lost. Plus they had some rain the night before and declared a ridiculous cart path only. The course didn’t have a single soft or wet spot on either 9, sand traps were dry, greens were firm and fast. Senseless unnecessary decision that ruined any chance of the round being enjoyable. Too bad.

It's hard to believe this course once held the match play tournament. The fairways are patchy, the greens filled with divots. The pathways have large cracks that sneak up on you. Due to Covid there are no water stations and the grill is closed. Come prepared with plenty of water and food. On the bright side the staff is friendly and the rates are semi reasonable. I can say I've played where the pros played, but I won't be playing there again. There are much better courses here.

My favorite course in the area, and there is not a close second. Being I am only a few minutes away I sometimes can book the same day and get out as a single. Staff is always friendly and courteous. The course is in pristine condition, played on 11/12. Very challenging and very fair. Greens are rolling nicely and fairways are in great shape. I highly recommend this course if visiting. Say hi to the Javelina's!

So beautiful. You will never be upset about your triple digit round when you have these views all around you. Especially the sunset views (see pics). There is also a great chance of spotting some wildlife. I've seen javalinas, bobcats, coyotes, owls, and more. Nothing to worry about though they have no interest in people with bags full of potential weapons on them. Check out the restaurant on site, Cayton's! Chef Jason is amazing!

I absolutely love this golf course. Not only is it in amazing shape for the summer but the staff is second to none. Im not a member but have played about 8-9 times in the last 2 months and they always remember me. Great service and great course
