In summary

Elkhart Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and casual atmosphere, making it a good option for beginner golfers and those seeking a laid-back experience. The course layout offers a mix of easy and challenging holes, with the front nine being more open and forgiving. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens and fairways, as well as additional fees for cart riders, which have led to mixed feedback about the overall value and experience.

Nice golf course... Front nine is very easy and wide open... If you hit a decent drive you'll get a lot of roll from the hard pan and the downhill trajectory.. back nine is another story.. what you gained on the front nine you'll lose on the back especially the par 5.. But still a very good course

This course offers fantastic value for cart and green fees! The players are courteous, making for a pleasant experience—much better than the 9 holes I've played in Houston County. Playing 18 holes here is an absolute joy! Thank you, Dr. Tim Stiff at Willow Creek Chiropractic and Wellness in Crockett. I highly encourage you to check it out!

Was attempting to go play here and simply called for some general information before making the hour drive and the girl who answered the phone is about as much help as 2 yr old. Hire people that are interested in providing customer service and not just getting back to what they were doing before you called.

I really enjoyed it, it might’ve not been in the best condition, but still a great experience nonetheless the less, it’s still in the works but has great potential. Played it with my dad and he had never played before and did pretty good just because it’s so open. Staff is good. Recommend 100 percent for starter golfers. Little advice though, greens are slow and a little rough, give it a little more juice than a normal green. Plus price was really good, $38 for front and back no cart fee. Great price overall.

Took my dad here for the first time to play, as he has never played here before. We didn't even play and won't be back. We were going in the evening, so we were going get the Twighlight rates. $27 for 9 holes isn't too bad. The course isn't GREAT but that's a fair price for 9. Anyway, there was only one cart outside, so I asked if they had anymore as we were needing 2 carts because our wives were coming along to WATCH. The lady said she could pull another cart out for us, GREAT! She told us there would be a rider's fee. Kind of weird, but okay. Then told us our total was $43 each. That didn't…

We played 9 holes today (1/15/23) and had a great time. The course is fairly wide open with just enough water to make it interesting. The people were friendly, and the course was laid back and uncrowded. We had a great time playing winter golf! Would love to play it again.

Very casual course great for casual people. There are restrooms in the office area. There are a lot of improvements being made but they do not interfere with playing.

I enjoy coming to this course. It’s the closest course to me in the area, without having to drive 1.5hrs or more round trip. It’s a fun course for what it is. It’s obviously not something you’d see on PGA Tour, but it’s really not a bad course to spend half a day on. It has a very casual atmosphere and everyone I’ve ran into is courteous. I’ll keep coming back as long as I live in the area.

First off, the pictures above are not from Elkhart golf course. I’ve played this course many times and it has never looked like that! The greens are small, hard, and always have bad areas on them. Putting is like playing planko, no need to read the green, all you need is luck. The fairways are even worse. This place is pasture golf at best. If you have ever played in other areas for $25 to $35 a round your really going to be disappointed here. I believe they are going up on price next month and there is no more pay one price and play all day. They have started charging for anything over 18 hol…

They are definitely working on getting this place in shape. Grass is growing, and greens are coming along. Fun place to play but a little pricey for the quality and drive to get out there. Might try again in the spring to see if it improves.

For everybody complaining about the fairways, cart part's, etc... try to build a course like that in that area and terrain. It is what it is and for the price it's more than ok. Where else can you play 18 holes without having to wait on groups ahead, bring your dog, wear whatever you want and still be challenged. It's not an easy course, even if it was perfectly manicured a lot of people would have to play more than ok to break par. I hope for everybody in the area that they can survive or sell it to somebody who'll continue to manage it. OHHH, and for the reviewers that question the pictures…
