This course really needs the old carts that tracked timing, and manage it more directly through rangers / clubhouse verbally confirming a group needs to speed up play or skip a hole this summer. Tracked carts allow your course to find the bottleneck before it becomes an out of control issue which is a common complaint here. It's early season, but I liked what I saw prep wise for the greens / teeboxes. Should be a nice looking course come June.

Cart girl and bartenders were nice. Course was poorly maintained and the shop manager split our group up for no reason at all. Bunkers were the worst I’ve seen. Nowhere near worth the $70 price point.

I love the way they treat you. If you have a personality, and can converse with great people, you will enjoy every minute. That’s in the bar. If your game sucks that day it’s your own fault. Haha. Enjoy!

Fairways is a great place to play golf. I have been playing here for years and we always play in 4 hours or less. It gives us time to hang in the bar afterwards.

Do not waste your money here. This course is in unacceptable condition and borderline unsafe. The bunkers are filled with rocks and boulders — not sand — creating a serious risk to both players and equipment. This isn’t “poor maintenance,” it’s complete neglect. The greens are an embarrassment: uneven, patchy, burnt, and inconsistent to the point that putting is meaningless. It looks like no professional groundskeeping is taking place at all. Fairways and tee boxes aren’t much better and clearly haven’t been cared for in a long time. Pace of play is unmanaged, staff show little concern, and…

$70 is outrageous for a course like this. "Upgraded" carts that have to be over a decade old. Neglected tee boxes. 4 ball washers on the whole course, half were dry and one was broken. "Improved" sand traps, except half looked like a lunar landing zone. Rough was in need of weed spraying. The greens were peppered with ball marks. I'll happily pay less for more somewhere else.

Terrible. What a disappointment. $70 is a joke for this course. I would pay maybe $30. The bunkers didn't have sand, just weeds and rocks, the course upkeep was worst I've seen. Whoever put together the layout on the back 9 was clearly drunk. Won't golf this place again.

Disappointed... I've played this course for years and usually talked up the atmosphere, nice carts, and quality course conditions. I played there the 1st time this year yesterday..... it was awful. The tee boxes are completely weedy and trashed, the sand traps were more like weedy water hazards, and the greens seemingly hadn't been mowed in some time.... also the carts are crappy gas rentals from some Illinois company... the "glizzy at the tizzy" hot dog was obviously over a day old and gross looking....The staff was nice and they honored the golfmoose.com coupon, being the only good things...…

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had playing golf. First, we made a tee time online for 5 people which allowed us to under the same name. We began playing and were already 30 minutes behind our scheduled tee time as 2 groups were waiting ahead of us after the first hole, after which we were typically waiting to tee off. Once we finished the front 9, we stopped at the pro shop to get drinks, to which an employee came out and split our group up, said we had to do 2 and 3, which only increased the clog of players during the game. Meanwhile on the 16th hole we saw a group of EIGHT p…

Very disappointed about the conditions today at the course. Most/some of the bunkers are atrocious and cannot be played out of without risking wrecking a club. Also, a good number of tee boxes were so sandy it was like playing out of a bunker. On the other hand, the greens were great and the fairways were decent.

I’ve never had better service with a cart girl than today with Evie! She made my entire day and was the friendliest most enjoyable person to be around. All my buddies and I loved her and without the service it wouldn’t have been as good as a day as it was. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Fairways of Woodside is a short course in very poor condition. The greens had just been aerated a week before our round, yet there was no discount offered. Not only were the greens full of large holes, but they were also bumpy with sand poorly spread, making putting nearly impossible. On top of that, the beverage service was shady at best. One of the cart girls ran my credit card without showing me the total or giving me the option to select a tip. When I asked, she admitted she just adds 20% for everyone—without permission. I’m fairly certain we were also overcharged. Between the bad course…
