In summary

Kettle Hills Golf Club is often praised for its scenic and challenging course layout, particularly with its elevation changes and picturesque fall foliage. The club offers a range of amenities, including a well-regarded clubhouse and dining options. However, some visitors have experienced issues with pace of play and customer service, noting occasional delays and interactions with staff that could be improved.

Course was in great shape at this time of the year. Greens had just been aerated, which made it tough to putt, but these have to be done at some point in the fall. A very pretty course with the fall tree foliage. I would play it again.

I have golfed here more times than I can count. It has been mostly a positive experience. I went out today, which was Labor Day. I know it’s a holiday, but the parking lot was still only 3/4 full. I had an 1151 tee time. I had one rider with me and was expecting a second golfer. He ended up not making it. We went out at about 11:48 AM. After I hit my drive and started to leave the starter yelled for me to come back because he wanted a twosome behind us to join. I went back, however, the two players were not ready to go. One was standing there talking to the starter and I don’t know where the o…

Golf was fine, but the counter staff were q uite rude. We had a 9 hole, no cart, free pass from a league rainout. When I asked for possibly a free cart, as we have been there over 10 years, and one of our group was golfing for the first time, the counter guy and some jerk from the office yelled out no way. So we paid for the cart. Then we went elsewhere after golf and spent $100.00 for lunch.

Beautiful golf course, but pretty hard. We played the ponds and woods 18 this time and will be back to try the valley 18. I would definitely recommend this course to any level of golfer, especially in the fall.

Our 6 person group who are all skilled golfers and acknowledge pace of play came to do a 3v3 scramble. We were told we have to go out seperate (after booking 2 tee times). The whole round the second 3 sum was 4 holes ahead of the group behind them, and our pace of play screen said we finished 71 minutes ahead of time. Once we made the turn we asked again and showed the owner our pace of play, and he still denied us to go out at the same time. There is no reason we should have had to play seperate considering the circumstances.

I ended up calling twice to see if they allow youth on course ( it’s an app) and to see if they could help me set up a tee time! One of the guys who answered the phone said yes kettle hills allows it! But the other guy said they did not and the other guy was wrong than hung up on me! If kettle hills could get back to me on the correct answer that would be great!

You don't want to golf here if you are planning an enjoyable experience. Our FOURsome went out a couple minutes before our scheduled time. The group in front of us was hitting their second shot on the second hole. We were harrassed three times during the front 9 to close the gap on the group in front of us. The ranger yelled at us mid-swing - showing no respect for us as paying customers. We had a THREEsome behind us. But they were never impeded by our play. And we stayed consistently 1.5 holes behind the group in front of us (so proper speed of play). Then, on the back nine, with no one close…

Fairways and greens are cut very short for some unknown reason...difficult to hot out of Fairways for that reason. No reason to cut them that short!

Overall great course. Fairly priced Valley 18: Picturesque, very hilly, would NOT recommend walking it Ponds/Woods: Pretty narrow at times. Lots of steep hills as well. Slopey greens There is a Range but it’s irons only <225yds

Nice layout but greens were way too fast and fairways were like a rock.

I am running a golf outing this summer and we are doing a golf raffle. I called Kettle Hills to get a gift card for $300 to cover the cost of golf for 4 people to put on the raffle table. I told the guy on the phone that I don't live close by and asked if he could run my debit card over the phone and then mail me the gift card. He told me that they can't take debit cards over the phone. I told him that I wouldn't be buying anything and ended the conversation. He then proceeded to call back and say "you just have to come in a buy it and then hung up". He was incredibly rude and not helpful at a…
