If you’re looking to book a public tee time, be ready for the members to act like you don’t belong. I had someone who was a member approach me on the driving range pre round to tell me “ You’ll have a massive group of four MEN playing in front of you today” and I just said “ okay thanks for letting me know” to which he groaned and walked past me. And I was playing as a solo so to say that was intimidating would be fair. Then the course conditions ? Wet would be an understatement… beautiful breathtaking course, but my oh my those conditions took so much of that away. I hope I can find it in my…

Not what I expected. We had the first tee time and we go check in and the guy up front wasn't thrilled to be there and when I told him we've never played here before and asked where the 1st tee was he looked at me like I was speaking Latin. Weird way to start off. The course itself was maybe a 4 out of 10 condition wise. Nothing was mowed greens included. At least the had 1 worker cutting new cups. The course has potential and was in a pretty area just needs some love. There are a few weird holes that are extremely short and felt squeezed in. Then you get to a par 3 that's 240 yards kind of a…

Wonderful course, Brian was a cool cat considering we were stuck in traffic showing up in the Pro Shop at our tee time, assuring us no stress. Can't wait to get back there.

2nd last golf course on our 13 day Vancouver island trip. Pleasantly surprised, great course. Staff was very helpful and Vancouver friendly. Course was in excellent condition, a challenging course but playable. Will definitely play again when we are back.

Nice sunny afternoon, have a nice Mojito with delicious lunch, sit in a beautiful exquisite fancy patio and enjoy friendly service, nice golf courses for sure! It is one of the most beautiful places in Nanaimo that I want to visit again!

I don't golf. Just came to have a meal at the Club house. Great multi level patio on a hill, with view over 18th hole. Well worth the drive, and take the road all around the area.

A group of 4 of us went for lunch in the reopened club house restaurant. It was not busy at all in the restaurant which seemed strange for a weekend and a much-needed new local restaurant. We were excited to have a place within walkable distance and were really looking forward to trying it out! Atmosphere is cafeteria-like but the patio is nice. The wait staff were nice and friendly but SUPER SLOW. Food is ridiculously expensive and came to the table after a long wait, cold and soggy, and tasteless. We had a pizza that was so cold when it arrived at the table, the cheese was rubbery. Beef dip…

A lovely spot on the patio for lunch. The flowers were amazing and the food was good, too. If in Nanoose Bay on a nice day, it's worth checking out this spot.

The course itself is solid, but the care for customers and desire to provide a valuable & enjoyable experience is totally absent from this Golf Club. If you plan on booking a round here, recognize that you are just another transaction in their till. When my group (8 guys) arrived, surprise fees were sprung upon us. Apparently the deposit we put down months ahead to secure our tee times didn't contribute to our green fees. Now that would have been understandable if it was posted anywhere on their website, or was relayed to us over the phone when we booked. Both of those did not happen. When…

Recently played the course it’s in GREAT shape… this review is targeted more towards Golf Pro Instructor Helene Delisle, she was awesome for my kids golf camp, so I took a lesson. I’ve been playing all my life but haven’t had a lesson in over 20 years (I’m mid 40’s) and since I’m trying to play more now decided it was time. She’s the definition of “game changer” one lesson in and immediate easy adjustments have changed my game and therefore enjoyment of it. She has the swing analyzing machine I’m not sure what it’s called, but it measured everything and quickly proved her instructions were i…
