Friendly people, nice café and great place to golf. The café is open to the public. Just call ahead to make sure they're open due to the season. The course is clean and kept up well. If the café is closed. They have drinks, variety of snacks, premade sandwiches and coffee. Proshop cashiers are friendly and very helpful.

Played this course for the first time on Saturday 4/18/26 - I cannot stress enough how nice and well-kept the greens at this track are. Most tee boxes were grassy minus a couple of the par 3's (typical) and fairways were about 75/25 with some of them a little more bare than others. The drought in the current area isn't helping I'm sure. For less than $60 on a weekend round, and with greens as true (BUT CHALLENGING!!!) as these are, this course deserves you giving it a try. I have a tee time booked for Sunday AM that I am super bummed I will most likely have to cancel due to rain finally. We wi…

They need to make their minds up about tee times and fix the website. Called to make a tee time and was told that they don’t do them. Showed up on a Friday and was told they do on Fridays, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Tried to call several times days before and no one answered. Not sure if I’ll be back. Was worth the drive the first time I played but this issue about tee times and such really sticks to me and makes it worth it or not about the 80-90min drive. Greens were great as usual and faster than what I’m used to, the tee boxes were nice as well for the most part. Decent course for th…

Falling Creek is a hidden gym. Course maintenance is outstanding and the friendly staff and owners are I’ll make you want to come back and play again. Don’t get me started on the chicken salad sandwich in the cafe, the absolute best I’ve ever had!

Great local course that is perfect for almost any skill level. I was a member years ago before taking several years off from golf. Finally getting back into the swing of things and always enjoy playing here. Nice staff. Course is in fairly good shape, and looks like it's improving. But, the cart paths are rough in places (I've noticed the same at a couple other courses around). No problem, as I prefer to walk, anyway. 5-stars overall. A joy, as always, to play.

First time playing FCGC, live about an hour away. I was pleasantly surprised, despite it being an older course the best thing about it was the condition. It is very well maintained, other than the cart paths which need a lot of work like most older courses. The man at the front desk was not real friendly, not sure if this is his general nature or was having a bad day. I was trying to engage in conversation with him about the course and it was hard getting any response from him. It is a Gene Hamm designed course like River Bend in New Bern, Roanoke Country Club in Williamston and Washington Yac…

Great course for a great price! Greens and fairways are some of the best in the area. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating. I have a group that travels just over an hour to play there most weeks.

Reasonably priced and family owned course with welcoming atmosphere. Course is not overly challenging, but there are a few tests with a couple of long par 3's and some water on #13. Fairways and greens are in great shape and getting better with recent rain. May want to avoid teeing off at peak times when member groups play, but otherwise, it is usually not crowded. Discount fees available on Tuesday and Thursday for non-members.
